The ECO is a version of the Corolla we really wanted to experience here at Real Auto Reports as it represents what automakers believe is the trend in automotive buying. The ECO model is akin to the Hyundai Elantra Blue and means it has some additional technology to help you squeeze out every last bit of mileage.
While the ECO is no rocket, it has good pick up, a smooth CVT transmission and many of the creature comforts you would typically find on vehicles two to three times the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price. Moreover, it truly represents the change in styling we have seen from Toyota with the introduction of each redesigned or refreshed model.

@Pleiocene Eukaryote Sorry for the delayed response to your question. All ECO models have the rear disc brakes. Other Corollas that aren't the ECO will likely be drum rear brakes still.

I found the 1st row seats to be tight. Also could have been I wasn't in one that had power seats. The 2nd row was fantastic. The Civic 1st row was great, the 2nd row has back of the head and legroom issues. Head height was fine, but if I were to lean back I was hitting the end of the headlines and/or the top of the rear glass.

I drove the 2015 Camry. Then I drove the Corolla. I liked the Corolla better. I just got a sense that it was everything the car was supposed to be. I didn't get that in the Camry.

+juan tafoya I have a Mazda 3 right now. It's very fun to drive, but it feels so cramped inside! Especially the back. I'm considering trading it in for a 2014 Corolla.
