Hi, I'm from Russia! Such a great reaction, thank you) When you repeated some phrases after Polina, you sounded like a real Russian man (almost without an accent), it's incredible. @@ramseyvoicestudio kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gMV6nr12z9TJZ3U.html&feature=emb_logo Polina Gagarina did this live set (this is just one song, of course) on October 7, you can really see her personality as well as judge her singing by sampling another of her songs. Thank you for the reaction of Кукушка! This is one of my favourites of hers! She's also so pretty. ;; I totally agree that nobody is born singing like Dimash. There are videos of him singing 6-7 years ago and frankly, it's not very good. He HAD TO WORK HIS ASS OFF to be as good as he is now. And those people saying 'he got that from god' are spitting on all of Dimash's hard work. Oh hey that's Kristian Kostov at 5:50! He was also a part of Singer in 2019. Could you do a reaction of his performance of Beautiful Mess at Singer. (I believe he was only 18yo there)

Just as a thought, try reading the lyrics prior to some songs, it might help you understand why the singers use a particular technique. As an example here, as you said she pulled her tongue back making her sound duller, she actually gave out an exhausted cry as she was singing about fallen comrades in a war, and in that particular exhausted moment it was a question of a soldier "where are you freedom now?"

The project was implemented as part of the" territory of culture of Rosatom " program tercult.ru/ About the first SEASON of the project: 18 cities, more than 400 performers from 4 to 92 years old, 3 months of shooting and more than 100 hours of video footage-all this is the project#10pesenatomic CITIES! The project was conceived as a gift to cities for the 10th anniversary of Rosatom and brought together more than 400 talented people of various ages and professions who live and work in the cities where Rosatom operates. Each performer brought their own style, warmth and atmosphere of their city to the song. The result of this huge work is 10 unique video clips in which music is born here and now, literally before your eyes! 10 songs of ATOMIC CITIES became part of Timur Vedernikov's global project #MUZYKAVMESTE - an analog of the American project Playng for change. The idea of this project is simple: a small team travels around the country with a mobile set of recording and filming equipment, finds talented and interesting musicians and records them in different beautiful places. All recordings are made live. This way, an unusual arrangement is created, woven with the sounds of different artists in different parts of the country, and sometimes the world. Each of the participants in this virtual joint music making brings something different to the composition. The result is video clips showing how, despite all cultural, national or religious differences, music can unite people and bring peace and love. Producer-Timur Vedernikov Director - Dmitry Burlakov cameramen - Evgeny Goryachkin and Arseny Tishin

This is a remake of a very famous song by Kino (Victor Tsoi) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eJd-q5aEupjNqnU.html Peeked in the 80’s Russia’s (USSR) underground rock was very popular for it’s controversial lyrics and unconventional (unapproved) for that time in the USSR music and singing style. Kukushka means cuckoo bird.

Ramsey Voice Studio well, in addition to censorship Music and Art were controlled by the government and paid for by the government. There were specific standards and requirements one must meet to be approved as a bonafide artist. Some were oppressive some just ludicrous for example a band must have matching outfits :) Formed in Leningrad Underground Rock was an independent movement, which by itself was controversial, because Independent entities and entrepreneurship were illegal. On top of that their lyrics reflected their anti war position (Soviets were in Afghanistan at the time) and growing resentment towards the system. Because speech was regulated, they often used metaphors to communicate. Posted link in my previous comment has English subs.

If you want to open something new, reccomend you react the most impressive perfomances in history of this show Tengri "Heaven" (58-year here, very unusual technique, including mongolian throat singing) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fpidqcZh0s-uXas.html Gong Linna (also very unusual techique, close to chinese traditional) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gJN_lbRn09a6XY0.html Tan Weiwei "Ulanbaator nights" (one of richest female voices) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndGGhtif3daunKc.html Also notice Super-Vocal (you already saw Zhou Shen).

Very-very annoying, when your voice always overlays the song. Just listen, your emotions will be estimated. Comment after or on a pause. Don't be offended anyway. That was really friendly advice.

I've tried to do it both ways, Yuri, pause and comment, or a quick comment. Nobody agrees, so I do my thing

Polina is great! Unfortunately this song is just another one from Putins propaganda playlist. This one was released in 2015 after the Crimean annexation. Same year she was representing Russia in the Eurovision song contest with the song "A Million Voices", a peace anthem. The song was chosen first and then they chose her to perform it. With that said, she is amazing as a singer and performer.

This song is not about war in Ukraine. This song used in movie and the film is about World War II.
