Hi Jason, , It was really useful video, thanks for sharing. Just curious, is your degree from Waterloo BS in Computer Sceince or Software Engineering My daugher is in 12th grade, so wanted to check if she gets BS in computer science (Waterloo) VS Computer Engineering ( Univ of Toronto or Macmaster ) which option would be best

Is intern and coop different ? Cuz Co op for CS In the uni I’m going to apply for told me. 1st year will be studying but fall of 2nd year would be work term then summer is work term2.

Internship and co-op are the same thing. "Intern" is what Americans say and "co-op" is what Canadians say

its referred to as intern as a person but you're going on co-op. Co-op is interchangeable with internship.

Hey I’m an engineering student at Carleton University in Ottawa and I want to know if you have any idea about how hard it will be for someone that graduates with good grades but with no coop experience to get a job right after graduation ?, thanks as you answer.

Good question. Maybe Ill make a video on it someday. I think it depends massively on your side projects at that point (and maybe a bit on your grades). I'd say if you arent doing co-op (which you should look for on your own) then you should be focusing on side projects

There's no co-op in Australia at any school? It is the best way to gain experience.

He studied Computer Science. His GPA is not on his public resume but I expect it to be high to get those jobs.

Because that’s where the big tech companies are located and are willing to pay large sums of money to get the best engineers.

@@postingbmwm3 It's because Facebook had trouble hiring people after they got hauled before Congress so they increased salaries a lot and other companies had no choice but to follow. And it is hard to find employees. Get a high GPA at any school instead of a low GPA at a "good" school.
