All of the scratches and dings, the paint coming off the pocket clip and blade makes it special the broken tip and that little bit of rust at the edge of the spine makes it my knife

My Expensive knifes degrade faster then my cheap $20-$30 ones that I carry every day.

I have a cheap csgo trainer balisong that has a TON of scratches, dents, and wear. I've taken it apart, put it back together, dropped it, broke it, fixed it, and everything in between. It is by far my favorite balisong

I think wear makes it look cooler. Gives every knife a story. I've got this giant scratch on my Griptilian. Used it to cut cord off a 2×4 and I smacked it into a big ass nail. But other than a scratch on the blade, its still sharp, flips fluently, and still is one of my most carried to this day. I dont mind it one bit.

I love old beat up knives. I don't remove nicks on the blade. I sharpen them too. Flat blades slowly become serrated over time, and it tells the blades work history. The more beat up it is, while still being functional, the better. ^.^

I can actually relate to this, I only use one handle on my black washed kershaw lucha so one handle is noticeably a lighter color than the other, and I honestly don't mind because it makes the knife look like it's been used.

I carry my benchmade pen on the opposite side of my knife otherwise it pinches the knife against the back of my pocket and I can't get the knife out. I get wear on the spine of my blades but usually only the finish.

I love the wear on your custom orange paint job balisong. Whenever I see it i always think about how bad ass it is. It just shows how its been well used and adds some serious character
