Singularities are the mathematical absolute middle of a black hole where there is technically infinite gravity. so in that game the "core" of the black hole would be the singularity.

Mega Edits Mondays might be one of my personally favorite days on KZfaq as of late. Always looking forwards to the extra long videos and perfect to wind down too or just have on in the background while working. Great job Matt and more importantly the priceless editor

This is such a fun game! Spoiler alert for what’s to come just to be safe. Once you unlock the rockets you basically just win. As long as you don’t run out of fuel you can literally just sit there and rocket the planet/moon/whatever until you hit the core. Honestly as much as I like the rockets it kind of made the game too easy.

54:29 Aluminum is technically the correct (and original) spelling. Aluminium came after and was only spelt that way to make it match some of the other elements. Aluminum was officially adopted in 1925 by the ACS, while Aluminium was accepted as the international standard in 1990 by IUPAC. same, it was pretty fun. thankfully it wasn't really drawn out with upgrades like a lot of games in this genre but the downside was it didn't take too long to beat once you figured out the farming strat.

@@C-aFilms technically some devs that wanted bigger numbers got around infinity by basically having 2 variables, one for the value and one for the exponent if im not wrong, it allows for something close to... 1e308^308? (... alt: 10*308^308) i think? Math might be wrong. Functionality may also be wrong (as its pretty much just my first thought to get a bigger number without ACTUALLY needing a bigger storage.) ... ... oh also i have no idea if this game uses 64 bit limit. 64 is just the current normal.

The specific density of iron is 7.874 g/cm³. The specific density of aluminum is 2.7 g/cm³. It takes longer to drill through iron than aluminum.

Instead of being near room temperature, iron is near the surface of the planet (so probably very cold) while aluminum is right near the core of the planet, so very very hot and presumably being denser than normal due to the extreme gravity.@@tommcintyre5608
