I'm sure someone else said it already, but In the third challenge level the reason it didn't work the first time is because you made "Baba is flag and win", and because Baba is now a flag, it's no longer Baba so It's no longer win.

7:36 Reason that don't work is because "Baba IS flag AND win" turns all baba's insto flags, but it is baba that is win as well, flags are NOT win, there is no "flag IS win" In other words "Baba IS flag AND win" would be the same as "Baba IS flag" and "Baba IS win" but since in either case you turns all babas into flags there is no babas left for you to win on

if you press esc (resume) the game doesnt state the rules as ''baba is flag and win'' instead it says ''baba is flag baba is win'' so that may be useful

Having played more of this game than my brain could handle, and then watched the speedrun to see how crazy it gets...I'm waiting for like episode 15 or however many it is when the complete and utter shenanigans happens.

I don't even think the programming is the worst part here, but coming up with the levels and the gimmicks. Once that was done, the coding was probably easy enough.

defeat implies that the level is instantly failed, death is more in line with the actual functionality of the defeat rule

I haven't seen that solution yet on the 4 challenge one. Usually what I see people do (and what I did) is push a big long string of letters to the 3rd one. I think this one was the better one

When you have an expression of the form A is B and C, that is the same as A is B, and a separate statement that A is C. But if B is a noun like "flag" this means A will become B, and thus no longer be A and thus the "and C" wont apply to it. So BABA is FLAG and WIN means BABA is FLAG, and BABA is WIN. That doesn't mean FLAG is WIN, so going to the flag doesn't make you win. But BABA is OPEN and WIN means BABA is still BABA, so you can go into BABA and WIN.

Don't know if anyone wants to know, but in the 7:40 Bonus Level, the reason "Baba is Flag and Open" didn't work is because it works more like "Baba is Flag" AND "Baba is Open". Since Flag is not Baba, Flag is not open.

11:05 I'm guessing (haven't played the game) the reason this worked is because YOU as an entity can push words but STOP prevents objects and words from moving any further so they instead stack on the same space. Maybe, I don't know lol.

The reason it worked is because Baba does not have the "STOP" or "PUSH" property, allowing the text to overlap with Baba. A similar solution is used in the base level, "Prison".

No, the order of rules isn’t why that happens. I think you’re thinking of it the wrong way: every object can share a tile with as many other objects as you can move to that tile. Text natively has push but not stop. Push means that if an object would be moved into the tile where another object is, the two objects move together. “You” just means that an object with you moves with the arrow keys. It doesn’t have “push” so it is basically an empty tile if it’s not moving.

At 7:30 , the rules were like this: - Key is You - Baba is Flag - Baba is Win So Baba turned into the Flag, and Flag isn't win, so you didn't win. At 7:43 , the rules were like this: - Key is You - Baba is Open - Baba is Win So Baba is win, so you did win when "You" touched Baba. I guess it was mostly confusing because it wasn't clear how the word "and" worked. If you're ever unsure what the current rules are, you can always press 'Esc', and the rules are there, listed in the pause menu.

Sandwiched WALL IS STOP betwen two Babas, pushed WALL into one Baba, then moved down so that Baba pushed IS STOP away from WALL. Similar to non-extra version of the level, but with two Babas instead of a strategically placed Keke. Trivia: this level was originally a normal level, and was turned into an extra and replaced with an easier verison after players kept saying it's too hard.

I remember doing that level. I made both BABA is YOU and KEKE is YOU and I did sooo much finicky movement to pull it off. RCE definetly found the easier way here.

"FLAG IS ROCK" would have worked, it's just crossed out because "FLAG IS FLAG" stops the flag from turning into other objects. It doesn't stop you from forming rules using AND.
