For some reason, if you've already spent all four movement points, you don't get to use the movement point that you get back when discarding. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but either way, if you're going to go for an extra movement point, make sure you have at least one left before you discard - then spend the last two points together.

@@user-ve6fi7rx3qI think that's part of the challenge. It does mean there's arguably less randomness in the game (apart from the tile order) One could conceivably count the tiles and know what's coming up.

Archipelago, standard size, Lighthouses are start locations - Mongolia spawns in the sea, still manages to trash every neighbor in the first 50 turns.

In the UK we usually call them 'boy' (spelt buoy) they are small floating towers used for marking spots in the ocean for various reasons. Ive seen some used to mark low tides or corals.

... This game is great but... I was so confused as to why matt was calling a buoy a 'boo-ee' 😂 I had to check! I haven't been pronouncing it wrong my whole life and 'boo-ee' is the American pronunciation! It makes the impression that you can pass through land masses if the tile still is adjacent. There were few ocaciens where the tile was marked with grey border. Or does it alwasy show that?

Grey border just shows that the tile can in principle go there. The position needs to be shaded blue for you to be able to place it now. And the arrow in the blue circle is what tells you if you can move somewhere as a standalone "movement" move.
