I'm not Filipino, but as an Indonesian I remembered back in elementary, my mom would cook me egg and corned beef. Instead of garlic rice, it would be topped off with fried garlic/ shallots (?) Or what we call bawang goreng. Seeing this makes me want to recreate it now that I can cook. Your garlic rice seems so tasty ❤❤❤

That garlic and onion sautéed corned beef also makes awesome pasta condimenti. Sautée some tomato paste alongside the garlic and onions before adding the beef. Then add whole-peeled tomatoes (smash them in the pan), bay leaf, and whatever Italian-ish herbs you prefer, and bring to a simmer for a few minutes (higly recommend a splash of whole cream at this point). Then dump in your almost-al-dente pasta and a bit of its cooking water and cook for a short time until the sauce thickens. You're welcome 😁

I really miss my older sister because whenever its morning she always cooks the breakfast for us and I'll do the grocery like buying the ingredients while she cook i really miss her garlic fried rice and the smell of sunny side up egg that she cook and sometimes she also make us a rice with kimchi in it idk what's called but it really taste good and i miss her cooking it for us too bad she's now in another country working there ;-; but i wish when i graduated college and she come home in the Philippines again i want to be the one who'll cook this meal to her

Yah, I agree fried rice n egg would be great to satisfy our mornings. But that’s if you have time to make it so. None the less nights left over is what makes us full our breakfast. And corned beef usually a dinner when we are tired after a long day.
