Why do I love Texas Rigs? Watch me do some summer bass fishing with Strike King worms and find out. Its 94 degrees today and I am sweating out here. But I want to catch a few bass, so what do I choose? I planned on using both worms and craws today, but stuck with the worms because of the results. While standing on a log over the water, I catch 2 nice largemouth bass! I walk down the bank a little way, and catch another bass. This one was two pounds! Summer is a great time to Texas Rig a worm, and the Strike King lures work great for this application. #fishing #realistic

One thing that is so satisfying about your commentary on your channel is I've never seen you exaggerate the size and weights of the fish you catch...refreshing to the fishing soul. Tight Lines, no matter how big they are...

I caught a 16 inch Largemouth the other day and was shocked when it was only 2 lbs 2 oz. 😂 Easy to underestimate the size!

A green pumpkin rage menace grub trailer rigged vertically on a green pumpkin bitsy bug jig like a bluegill imitation has been killer on my river lately! I just cast it and swim it. You don't even gotta set the hook to hook them. Just keep on reeling! Its also pretty weedless.

Nicole always catches me off guard, she starts off all nice and then brings in the toothy fish. Alex, let's take a road trip toward the Northeast US. I'd bet it's a ton cooler closer to where Nicole lives... Anything beats 94 degress and tons of humidity!

Can’t do this humidity! I nearly passed out doing some trimming . Go in the shade where you can at least be out of the sun :). If I go out I’m parking under a bridge where a good breeze comes through

Went out a couple days ago. No bass, bunch of every size bluegill and 2 catfish on a Crappie float rig. Been since early last summer that I caught a catfish even though I don’t target them. Nice Basses. I’m not sure basses is a word for multiple bass 😂…

I went out yesterday and lost the biggest Northern Snakehead I've ever seen in my life. I wasn't ready for it to jump and I forgot to drop my rod tip (to put slack in the line) and it spit the lure. When I say it was all of 9lbs to 10lbs+, I mean that. It was an absolute monster. But that makes me want to go back out there again. I'm not going to lie, it haunts my dreams lol. I'll get her though. It was a true river dragon. My PB is about 8lbs - 9lbs.

I've got soo many "senkos" to try, including several shimee sticks and a strikeking "bulk" pack that I desperately need to break out as they're several years old and unused. I have found myself going away from the stick worm on a Texas rig and I need to go back to it.

spinning reel remove the weight put WHATEVER soft plastic you want on within reasonable size and i almost guarantee you'll get bites if not a few fish. Best time when its hotter than all heck is when the sun is going down or dusk, its cooling down but its still light and the bass are usually HITTIN even on 100+ degree days. I got my best friend into fishing and my father into bass fishing with weightless texas rigs alone.
