Man I’ve been around the block with this. I purchased a course from a guy who was one of the OG internet copywriters (he was posting vids years ago about writing copy)… Not gonna say any names… He talked about how much money he had made as a copywriter etc… After I got into his course, he even said himself that his course was his main source of income now. So what am I trying to say by telling you this? Simply this: Usually, if someone is vehemently preaching the benefits of something, it’s because they are a direct beneficiary of you buying that thing. Not always, but normally. Yes of course, you can make money in almost any business. But the harsh reality of the matter is, you should just do the thing and figure it out as you go. You really don’t need a guru to help you ”guide” you. Save your money.

I completely agree You’re new….you lack experience…. To gain experience you need clients…. Clients won’t pay for inexperience,, to get your foot in the door work for free, get endorsements from them use that as leverage for your other clients

I haven't attempted practicing copy yet or even thought about doing it for awhile now. bro, I've been doin' this shi for a min, lots of mistakes and have never landed a client, but I still do the outreach and learning. I aint quitting tho🙏

No my favorite is when they say. “I’m so and so an I made multiple 6 figures in copywriting sales last year”. Now most of us say “damn I want that”. I want you to go back and read that again. What they mean is their copy was responsible for making their clients multiple 6 figures last year but what did they make? I see this all the time. Or “you don’t need any experience to be a copywriter and you can make 10k a month easy”. Ya that’s 👎🏻 you need to know so many things to be a successful copywriter and it’s not just writing copy and learning the fundamentals guys. You have to learn how to interview and be able to market yourself and know how to price your work and how to package your work and what payment system you will use and you want to find out what formats you are the best at writing copy. You want to build out a portfolio and guess what? There are techniques you want to learn on how to do that also because you want it streamlined for your potential clients, what I mean is you should have multiple google docs that have your portfolio and they should be broken down by things like Industry and formats so if you are going after a job in finance your clicking on your finance folder and if the job is emails you will then find the doc under finance and pic that one to use. This system makes it so easy and stress free when trying to after a job. To do this you obviously need a lot of work experience but not necessarily you can use practice pieces where you took someone else’s copy and wrote it better, but this is important you must make it clear it’s a practice portfolio because the last thing you want is for them to find out your lying. Not good lol. Oh and by using this method you can have a master doc that you can send a client so they can click on it and it brings them to your many docs that you broke down for ease of use for yourself is now ease of use for a client that might want to see all your work, trust me if you send a portfolio like this they will want to hire you because you are showing them you are very organized and understand not to waste peoples time. So there you go I hope this helps.

No the way the top dogs of copywriting earn 5 or 6 figures from copywriting is by implementing profit shares and thats when there is no cap limit to your earning from copywriting. I hope this helps
