Wow almost 2 hr wait??? That’s the least luxurious thing I ever heard….its just expensive shopping now, luxury doesn’t exist there….I’m sorry you had to wait in that line, but I’m happy you got the exact bag you wanted !!

Strange that the first one you went to wasn’t able to get the bag like the second store did so you didn’t have to wait. If the bag was in a storage place to begin with they should have said something…

I am actually making a video about this shortly! Some stores make you wait to find out if your product is there or not while others have a sales assistant asking people in the queue to check their stock. Some refuse to check the stock as it's always changing as the queue moves. So complicated -_- (Also, the first store didn't have the bag in their stock at all regardless).

⁠as a retail worker, for premium service and up we actually do call and ask other stores in paris if they have the item in stock and then if they do, we use a bicycle courier to get the item... i find it a bit weird and rude to get the customer to go through a 1h30 queue just to get an appointement and another 1h+ queue.... it is bad customer service at least

You should be able to call or email if stock is a potential issue and then, have them arrange to move your item to the location of your preference!

I mean if you go to galerie lafayette or le printemps of course you'll wait hours there's no luxury services since everyone in there is going to buy something anyway they will not loose customers since it's a big tourist spot. People doesn't understand that in this kind of places even you buy "luxury" items you'll be treated as any normal person because buying luxury items there is the norm

It's ridiculous but it works like wonder that's why these company will continue doing this, as long as they earn money. What I don't understand is the customers who is playing in this luxury game. What makes you want the bag (or any luxury item) so bad you willing to queue 1+ hour sometimes outside or under the rain, sometimes or often(?) treated poorly by the sales assistant, spending your hard earned money, for a bag? Is it really the bag you want? Or the status? Is it really worth it? I want to know

Completely agree with you - this is the point of the video and generally my content on my channel to show the realities of ‘luxury shopping’/ the industry. I initially saw the never ending lines at this brand and wanted to share the fact that the hype doesn’t match the service. I wouldn’t bother otherwise if this is the experience but I know there are people out there like those contributing to the queues who do it for all the reasons you mentioned.

It’s literally plastic fabric with a leather lining. Why are we spending $3k for a crappy print when you can spend $2k on a full leather bag. People are like “oh it’s lightweight. Oh I can carry all my stuff in it” Like yeah. They make canvas shopping bags the same way for $7.99. You’re paying for the ugly print.

My card holder is very nice and isn’t a giant pain like the ones you have to flip open, (kinda like a flip phone but sideways) anyways I think I like this design a lot better!! ☺️

This is totally a fad bag. Like a few people had it and next thing it's popularity and price took off. I mean its canvas painted. Too much heat or bag storage will get the paint wobbly 😂. Cant even resell it in a few years

Wow thanks for letting me know when we went to Louis Vuttion we had to wait in a line for 30 minutes they were only letting 2 or 3 people in the store at a time I bought my wife a neverfull tote and wallet for her birthday what’s the name of the tote you purchased and the price this standing in line business is getting ridiculous 😅

😂 all the people on here complaining about that it’s not „luxury“ or the materials. Of course this isn’t luxury shopping. She’s literally doing tourist shit. Once you have a relationship with them, you actually don’t meet in the store with the regular customers. I’m lucky enough to have experienced when they roll out the red carpet and it’s quite nice. Secondly I cannot stand when people bitch about „it’s not even leather“. Yes it’s not leather but that’s not because they’re ripping you off. There are numerous as pros to using this vs leather.
