Well if you studied for 45 years how could you possibly have missed all the verses that make a pre trib rapture impossible?

Kathleen, may I encourage you to just read the Bible. Avoid the commentaries and Bibles by certain pastors. HIS Word is truth, not theirs. I believed pre trib for 25 years until the Lord finally opened my eyes to what His Word said so plainly. I grew up Catholic and had never even heard of the rapture. We just believed Jesus was coming again to judge the living and the dead. After I got saved, I started attending a Calvary Chapel where I was taught it. I remember being very confused about these two different comings. I believed it because I got saved through CC, and the Lord brought me out of all the lies of Catholicism, so these guys must teach all the truth. But, I will say, at first, it's pretty depressing when you realize we may go through The Tribulation. But then, it's kind of like working out. You start getting stronger, and you remember that He will never leave you or forsake you, He will be with you always, even TO THE END OF THE AGE (another proof for post trib). 😉Stand fast. sister.

(That's the 6th Seal according to Scripture in Rev 6 v12) Anything After the 6th Seal is Not the Tribulation, according to Jesus. Satan is able to deceive people by simply making them think the Whole 7 years is the Tribulation. And It's Not, according to Jesus. Simple....

Yes! Just like saying to every believer, "yes, you are my Bride but you have to lose your head first"! Totally nonsensical....Christ loves His Bride and is going to come for her before God's wrath comes upon the earth!

@@katherinemartin7119 Galatians 2:20, Song of Solomon 4:6, Hosea 6:1 - dying to self is not fun but it is very necessary if you want to be transformed to the Image of Christ.

@@Winter78ful That is not the intent... dying to self means living Christ's way, not our own. That does not mean literal death.

@@katherinemartin7119 that’s the point - Christ may ask you to lose your head for Him. Think of John the Baptist - he literally lost his head. All the disciples (except John the beloved) were killed. The earlier Christians who died in those coliseums. What exempts us? My point is following Christ is not easy - the gift of salvation is free but it cost Him His life. That’s not cheap. He asked us to die to self inwardly for His Name / His Image and for some of us that may mean both spiritual as well as physically. The good news is if we are prepared inwardly by The Power of The Spirit- then the outward should not be so scary. I think our focus should not be so much on pre or mid or post trib rapture but it should be on inward. Does Christ fully possess us? Do we look like Him inwardly not just outwardly. (And yes He is very much alive today)

@@Winter78ful Believing what you believe has no bearing on your salvation...we are saved by our belief in Christ, repentance and trust in Him to lead our lives...but oh I long to see the sheer Joy on your face when we at last hear the trumpets cry and we are lifted up and out of here before God's wrath descends upon the earth! For whatever reason, you feel you must do something yourself, but Christ has already done it all. I will rejoice with you when you realize that our perfect Groom has no desire to demand our heads! Except if you do the research the tribulation is only 42 months long or 1260 days or a time times and a half a time which is three and a half years ..the tribulation is never described as 7 years in the Bible.

@@MaryMartinez-lm5tv The tribulation consists of 2 parts. The Tribulation and Great Tribulation. all together know as "The Day of the Lord." Dan 9:27 talks about the 1 Week out of the 69 (7 Years) and Rev 11:2-3 talks about the latter part of the 7 years called the Great Tribulation just to name a few verses.

@@kevinantholt the first 1, 260 days in Revelations 11 the two witnesses are preaching. Daniel 8 says he comes in peaceably.
