Succession War Arc is completely insane and will go down as one of the best arcs in shounen history IF Togashi comes back and continue to write it and doesn't just jump ahead

Imagine if Tserriednich have some of the sheets of Sonata of Darknesss in his possession try to blackmail Melody into working for him. I totally see him forcing people to play some of those sheets as well.

One of the things I love most about HxH is how even the smallest side characters feel like they have their own motivations.

There's so many strong people on board it's intimidating. This is like HxH's own version of the tournament of power except killing is allowed and everyone actually has a shot at winning.

Damn there is A LOT going on to have to keep track of with this arc but this video is a really big help in getting me caught up and fully filled in on the entire Succession War Arc for when HxH both starts back up and I start reading it. Glad it exists.

In my opinion the succession war arc has the potential to be better than yorknew city and one thing that I’ve noticed from re-reading is that Togashi likes to mirror or model his later arcs like some of his previous ones, for example greed island reminds me of the hunter exams, the succession contest reminds me of yorknew city, and I’m almost certain the dark continent arc will be modeled like the chimera ant arc.
