Idont thing its camilla doing but the mother of the prince Kacho, she doesnt know herself or some other nobody who really love Kacho and knew she protectec Fugetsu and after Kacho's death mother or this group of people use sacrifice who was raise for this purpose. sorry i dont explain myself well but in this condition english is difficult but in death curse are stronger and i remember a group speaking about this type of people and curse.

I do not understand the portrayal of this chapter: To me it looks like Izunavi figured out the Power of Tyson, he tries to use this power because he sees right through it, it doesn’t seem like he is unwarily converted Kurapika could be able to cure Nen curses as he found out about them already I figure he could consider curing them a useful ability. In any case I don’t think this is his worst case scenario, him teaming up with tubeppa is great

Togashi disappears for 3 years, suddenly drops 10 new chapters without skipping a beat, only shows the lead protagonist once in the final panel of the final chapter, then peaces out again. What a king.

NOT EVEN THE LEAD PROTAGONIST, Kurapika is one of four protagonists of the series and just the main for the current arc. And he was missing for like 20 chapters. The power Togashi has is unrivaled.

Kurapika was completely absent the Chimera Ant Arc, which is like 1/3 of the overall story and is often considered the most impactful arc and the is one that crystallized what Hunter X Hunter did different from typical shonen anime’s. Kurapika was also absent from the Heavens Arena, Greed Island and Chairman Election arcs save for rare moments where he’s alluded to or shown brooding. Kurapika was the main protagonist of the York New City arc, but even then Gon and Killua had a lot of screen time - not to mention the troupe taking up a ton of the narrative with their side of the story. Kurapika IS one of the protagonists, but has relatively less screen time than any of them save Leorio (who has been EXTREMELY absent or at least disengaged from the narrative due to lack of combat capability relative to the other three mains).

Classic togashi making the princes who died first the ones who got off easy keeping thier humanity and morals in tact. The lower princes are becoming more insane by the chapter while the high ones get deeper in war sparking. Also it's kinda cute togashi has a lot of romance plots going together in story.

Personally, I'd actually like that because I think two drops of 'romance' would make the delicious soup that is HxH even better, especially if it's her and this super plain guy. I think the guy was honest but he has nerves of steel and his heart rate just never changes no matter what, Melody even compares him to a metronome, I like the idea of him being the only one she can't read idk if I'm right but I hope so

Genuinely feel like people underestimate the Phantom Troupe quite a lot expecting them to be taken out by some NPC that just discovered nen I like the fact that Togashi makes sure to point out "No no, these guys are absolute monsters pretty much all of them".

It's the other way around. The Heil-Ly are vastly underestimated especially when Togashi seems to be setting them up as the main threat this arc.

It may be something like Chimera Ant arc all over again... True experts with experience backing them up VS true geniuses with cheats powers. The troupe has the advantage right now but with each passing day the princes and co are getting that much stronger.

its not about underestimating them. but the rules of nen have always been set up in a way that there is no absolute power. you can be the strongest nen user, but there will always be a matchup where a much weaker opponent can beat you. The strongest nen users a generalists. A strong fighter needs both strength and flexibility. Hence their power needs to be restrictive enough to be powerful, yet not so restrictive as to limit their options in battle too much. But as a result there is always chance for someone like kurapika to appear. Someone with an extremely restrictive ability that is tailor made to beat you. Kurapika has been a newby nen user when he took on the phantom troupe. Even as a genius this was only possible by highly restricting his powers. And now the phantom troupe is trying to assault a whole group of people that are fanatically devoted, willing to give away their life, able to acquire extremely specialized nen powers. Fighting them on their home turf. Without an element of surprise. You have seen the lawyers power and how incredibly strong it was. By restricting it so heavily that it can only be used on their home turf it becomes almost invincible. That is the power of restriction. And that is what the troupe is going up against - while not even at full force. While split into many smaller groups. While at the same time Hisoka is hunting them. In any normal situation attacking this mafia family on their nen hometurf would be utter folly.

I would be honestly ok with a semi-monthly schedule. I understand how fucking terrible chronic backpain is. Funnily enough, I used to make fun of him too, buying into the Dragon Quest meme. It's funny how you can only really understand something when it happens to you or someone close to you. Most of the time I have so much pain I can't even take a shit properly. I literally need to stop sometimes and lay down of the floor. People have no idea how fucking bad the pain is with chronic back pain.

I think many people underestimate Prince Tyson but her Spirit Guardian Beast literally collects aura from people who read her book, Kurapika's teacher even reference a Spirit bomb from DBZ which we know a collection of energy from other people. Maybe if she survives and create a big enough following, she could be a threat with her nen beast especially with the taboo and punishment thing.

I would say that Kortopi was best en user in the troup. In York New arc, his ability to creat additional fake buildings, was like using an en. He could sense anyone who enters his domain.

All I’m saying is that I have no reason to believe that’s his absolute limit. I don’t think it would make so much sense for him to extend his en past the range of his sword so that he’d have to move to the person rather than them coming to him and waiting for his chance to strike.

@@mattb.7079 Maybe has something to do with what killed Kacho, the hands who killed her are very similar to the little nen ghost following Fugetsu, and her nen never implied the ghost would either drain her own energy or "curse her", only protect her

Honestly wasn't expecting Kacho to have much relevance after her death, but it seems like the spirit beast is being treated as a full on resurrection. She still has agency, her personality... _and_ she has ghost powers now. Everything worked out better than expected. 🙂

@@asdf852asdf yeah I think it may be a punishment for those who try to escape the succession war or maybe even a combination of that with a curse (or multiple curses) sent by Carmila (poor Fugetsu ain't help at all if that's the case) However I do believe her trauma (having witnessed her sister's death) also plays an important role in her current state

Tier 1 is going crazy. The next 10 chapters will for sure be more focused in tier 1, like this last 10 chapters was focused in the below tiers with the Troupe, Mafia and Morena's group. Just the content of this chapter 400 alone has enough things that I can think and make speculations for at least to next 6 months. I loved every single chapter that we get this year. I will support Togashi in whatever way he decides to continue in the future.

This isn't hiatus, this is togashi saying that he can't do a weekly series anymore. So he's not going to kill himself trying. My guess is it's either going to be bi-weekly or monthly, and we'll get more consistent Hunter Hunter updates, which is something I've been hoping it tookashi would do for a long time, considering his health issues. My suspicion for this Arc is that it is going to accelerate and hit critical mass at some point. Because so many conspiracies and plots and efforts are going to start running into each other then when everything starts to go down it's all just going to explode at once. I think one of the later princes will be the one to win all of this though, because the higher princes will get caught in the sights of each other and the lesser ones and there will be no way for them to escape.

I will add the following: Everyone thinks her flute-playing is superb BUT Terrorsandwich is the only one who realizes Melody's playing was actually a Hatsu "attack". There's another theory that he has all the other Devil's sonatas and he will probably demand Melody to play them. So Melody CANNOT in any circumstances go to the 4th's quarters!

Based on how vague and indefinite previous hiatus announcements have been, if they existed at all, seeing them say they want to finish the manga feels really significant to me. I feel like they wouldn't have said that lightly. I can't wait for the panel in like 2 years where Kurapika sees Tserriednich's Kurta Clan death room. His eyes gonna be sooo red!

Man, you are my hero. I really really like HxH but it is getting quite hard to read for me due to busy worklife. I read the chapter and try to get as much as possible and then going for your video to check what i missed. HxH is so analysis and background heavy series… i love it and hate it at same time

The part that's curious about Fugetsu's condition is how she's seemingly in a state of mania over using her own nen abilities. It could still be a curse from one of Camilla's soldiers, just one that works indirectly. Instead of passively draining nen from the target over time, it could instead work by mind-controlling them to be addicted to using their own nen, forcing them to spam their abilities until they effectively commit suicide. Also: can Ghost Kacho not use nen? Melody had no trouble seeing the "evil spirits" or whatever infecting/haunting Fugetsu and the fact that she was aura zetsu. Ghost Kacho did not. Seems really weird that a being made of nen can't use it, but then we still don't REALLY know what the heck the guardian beasts are or how they work. Instead of using nen, it could be abilities that are tangential to it or a completely different system.

The Guardian Spirit Beasts have long been confirmed to use Nen and be created by Nen. Togashi is not going to introduce a new system this far into the story. They use Nen. Nanika uses Nen. They’re both the result of complex Contracts. Nen is like a law of the HxH world imo.

I think Miura's death made editors scared for their golden geese. Oda already has leeway but he earned it the hard way. Kubo's health made him rush his ending and Miura died before he could finish. Togashi is the biggest author only second to Oda, he deserves to have as much leeway

Oh yea, if forgot about Camilla curse suicide followers, that's a good theory and likely the reason those nen curses were following her, she was tweaking in that chapter. First thought in my mind of who was doing that to Kacho was one one Heily nen followers that were affected by contagion bc she mentioned killing a prince will level you up 50 levels and I felt at least one prince was going to be killed by one of them. Most stories mentions a big detail and that big detail is usually shown in the later plots but not Togashi, he mentions something amazing like Kurta's eyes is one of the 7 most beautiful things in their world and never get to find out the other 6 or when Netero said Ging is a top nen user and never find out who's the other 4 that are one the same level as Ging but likely better than him at being a nen user

Watching this video made me fear Tyson so badly. Because I realized that I fell into her trap too. I thought she was sincere about not wanting to be in the succession war, about only participating to spread the Book of Tyson. All of that preaching of love and nonviolence could easily be a lie built so people would underestimate her, and even readers of the story who should recognize that can get sucked into it. Everything she says to Izunavi especially is curated to exactly meet his wants and entice him. Tyson plans to resolve the war without death, she wants to spread her teachings to the world and that’s the only reason she’s competing for the throne, she’s powerless compared to her older siblings. Because, is she? Tyson seems very in touch with the world, with pop culture and the internet. She has very polished people skills compared to some of the princes. She has a following, and I don’t think she needed Nen to start it.

I'm glad I found this channel because I have no idea what's going on with the princes situation anymore. I find them so uninteresting now because I don't remember them and don't want to re-read it all to catch back up with them Not saying the chapters are bad or anything. 2 things : 1- pitou "En" don't reach 2 km in a steady way isntead its spread randomly to reach 2km maximum, when pitou tried to control En in circle he/she covered the palace only, and thats a big difference a nen experts can cover 50m in a steady spread for sevral minutes, pitou can reach 2 km but like limbs not a circle. 2- kaizarou is under kamilla nen beast ability(maybe) cuz camilla is the one who was there with him in the same room, the VIP detainment facility, when camilla were captured for killing first prince guard, also here beast is known for being manipulator with the ability to take control of targets who fulfill certain conditions, that make perfect sense with kaizaro heart beats being so perfect.

I think Fugetsu stat is a result from having 2 Nen beasts. Senretsu ( Melody ) says isn't look like a curse. Remember what cost to Momoze to activate her beast powers, now think about the effect of having a beast who think she is humain. A beast who appeare without caring about to be a Nen parasite who drain her sister's aura.

I think it would be cool if the bodyguards and staff playing along with the roles Prince Tyson gave them, started to actually become those identities and gained powers accordingly. Like the hitman that only remembers how to use a gun. Or the alien guy! He could prob have some crazy powers

3:52 - I think this is the start of the purge the soldiers mentioned on (ch. 394, pg. 14). This would effectively stretch out the conflict between the troupe and the Heil-Ly, and be the perfect catalyst to set in motion multiple other plot points we’ve been building up to (e.g. the state take over of the Justice Bureau -> Melody getting trapped in the ensuing chaos -> leaving Fugetsu unguarded)

If Kaizaru working on behalf of a prince, couldn't be (indirectly) Camilla? Camilla's GSB is a coercive manipulator type, and Camilla was locked up in the VVIP area, where Kaizaru is, which gives the GSB a chance to manipulate him. Also... Longhi revealing themselves as a men user already effectively makes them the 4th nen user hiding their nen (as IDed by Furykov)... which potentially means that Longhi is the user of Silent Majority.

As we return to the succession war, I'll admit I'm drawing a bit of a blank on some of the princes. Between now and the end of the hiatus, do you think you could make a video about which princes are remaining and what their play at the throne is? Yeah, they mostly boil down to "kill all the other princes," but the only one I can concretely recall is, I believe, the first prince who has his guards positioned with every prince with the intent to kill.
