I agree with you about Xmas. I am only getting my kids something and maybe my hubby🤣 but everyone else is out of luck. We are in hard times and it's unnecessary.

I try to keep Christmas spending on the lower side. I buy gifts for my two daughters, and we have a very nice home-cooked meal to celebrate the holidays. We have plenty of Christmas decorations to put up but I usually do have to replace some of the lights that go around the tree otherwise we're set.

Something that may help with the mosquitos is to plant lemon grass. I haven’t done it personally, but I’ve read it does wonders! I hope that helps 😊

South carolina here... have a company come out and treat your yard for mosquitoes. Also, plant some lemon grass in pots and place around your porch... very low maintenance. Just add water. We grow it every year, and it grows as tall as me. I have to cut it back, but I'm allergic to bug repellent

For Christmas we have only been buying for nieces and nephews. Adults get a card. Made life so much easier. Now that we have a child of our own that is born in December we just get him one big gift from everyone for birthday and Christmas and then a few small things. He will be turning 2 this December.

You know what. You and your husband are very smart. Pools are fun, but they also have drawbacks. It's smart to weighs the pros and cons of where you are at in life and make the decision based on that rather than wants or just because you have the money. I have a friend whose husband got a hot tub for their porch just because he got a deal on it and had gotten a bonus at work. It was fun and everyone enjoyed it for a while. But they couldn't maintain it and their water bill went crazy. And the pipes to their house weren't really able to deal with it and they had flooding issues. And then the porch started bowing because of the added weight/ water damage. And it turned out to be a big old mess. A fun while it lasted mess- but still a mess. And for such a "deal" it cost them more in the long run than it was worth. That's not to say no one should ever have a pool (or hot tub) at their home. But it's good to weigh everything that goes into a purchase before you make that purchase to make sure it's the right fit for your situation (Even if you have the money to do it) Someday- maybe you will get a pool- when you have the time/ energy to keep it up... And maybe one with an enclosure that keeps out mosquitos! P.S. I share the same attitude towards Christmas spending. Spend money on kids and immediate family. Adult friends spend time with, not money.

Even though we were sure about it at first I was so happy we did and my husband and I gave each other more and also weren't stressed about anything or anyone else.and most importantly we didn't go into debt. Also I forgot to mention from last video definitely try to bring your brother. My brother is autistic and he was good flying we just kept bringing it up that we were going on a airplane and the way it works and he did really good. He was excited. Also maybe she can put on simulations for him and call airlines or airports about advice and their experience. God bless lady!

Hey. Let me share with you how I get rid of mosquitoes and other annoying bugs. I took a bar of Irish spring soap and grated it up like cheese I put some in a spray bottle and added some water. I spray down my doors outside and counters inside. I also used some of the grated soap in a dry mason jar and when I sit outside I sit the opened jar on the table and flies and mosquitoes don’t bother me. I also put dry dry pieces in my window seals where small flies and mosquitoes might try to get in. I take the soap that is in my spray bottle and spray it on me when I get ready to go outside to work in my yard or take a walk. I hope this helps if you try it. It works great for me. Good luck hun.

Congrats. I'm excited for your new challenges. Also, with health insurance, not sure if you had a choice for an HSA program, which is pretax, and a debit card is sent to you. This card can also be used for dental and vision, even if it comes from health insurance. You save money as pretax is not taxed. And the money that goes into the HSA card roles over for life as long as it's funded (Not FSA, they are not lifelong, and you loose is not used completely at end of yearly cycle). As food pool, had one for 9 yrs. It's too expensive, and the physical management is exhausting. Thanks for sharing, loved the video ❤✉️

Great challenge video!!! Great way to see you reallocate your Funda ro put where most needed. It's such an accomplishment to have completed the challenges, you should be proud of yourself. It's amazing to see how easy money can add up if your disciplined to do so. I was doing so well and I had all my debt paid off however I opened an Amazon card to get the $150 free and I'm putting myself back in debt, ugh 😢 but I got this and I'll get it paid down. I just gotta stop using it. I am getting money back for what I spend but I'm falling in a rabbit hole. Keep up the good work 💛💛💛

I live in Tennessee and I get bit up with something on my legs. So, I get Skinsations, which is at Dollar General, and I spray that stuff on my legs when it starts to get warm out, and so far, they seem to leave me alone. But you are right, they are brutal here.

Hey Daisy!! I hate mosquitoes I’m allergic to them. So I try to stay in the house outside of going to work as much as possible I don’t have time to get welps and eaten up. 🤦🏽‍♀️

We tried doing the limited Xmas gifts plan last year and communicated it to both mine and my husbands family. Everyone seemed cool with it but my husband couldn’t help himself and got gifts for all his siblings and parents 🤦🏽‍♀️ i can’t hate him for it but we’re going to be serious this year about buying so much during the holidays!
