@@1mariville I think Cleveland under-estimated Houston. And by the time they woke up and realized Stroud wasn't to be taken lightly, he was already in a groove and Flacco was throwing pick sixes. Baltimore did NOT under-estimate Stroud. You can tell that they prepared for him as if he were a veteran.

I think Rex is right too. KC has a better defense, but not so good that they're going to cause Lamar problems that San Fran couldn't. And KC doesn't have enough on the outside to do serious damage to this Ravens defense. Buffalo could have went more off script with Allen, but Reid is a better coach than McDermott and their defense would have been shredded by Lamar.

Monken was dialing it up, that’s what I like most about him is how he adjusts. Thank god that Roman isn’t there anymore.

Detroit and San Fran tried to force Lamar to throw. It didn't work. San Fran tried to muddle rush, it didn't work. Miami tried to blitz, it didn't work. Seattle tried to drop 8, it didn't work. Houston tried to blitz and take away the pass, it worked for a half before adjustments were made and it was off to the races. We've pretty much seen teams try to defend Lamar every way possible. Now that he actually has decent WRs on the outside, and a decent passing scheme, it's reached a point where, the only chance you have is to score 30 on that Ravens defense. Which, oddly enough, the last team to beat the Ravens did that. Lamar is way more intelligent on that football field than given credit for, he goes through his reads faster than he's given credit for and he processes information overall, better than he's given credit for. That's why countless opponents leave the field saying, there's no one like Lamar.

The Texans changed their game plan. After the first game, they felt they held him in check because "he wasnt looking to run". Lamar after that game said he didnt run because the Texans took it away. The Texans should have listened to him. They played to take away the pass yesterday and they found out that Lamar actually has no problem running.

They ranned the ball and it was a lot of busted coverages by the linebackers and secondary you can't score if you consistently getting dumb penalties and bad play calls and no protection for your QB I think CJ Stroud should make teams fear his legs more he be having opportunities to run but want do it if he do that it would of helped the offense line out

Im surprised how the 15 rushes for 38 yards is going unnoticed. We shut the run down. Texans had a big run that made up most of that. I mean, they only had 6 rush yards at the end of the 1st. The pressure on CJ was constant all night. He is a special kind of QB that managed to maneuver, and get rid of the ball under pressure...but lets face it. If that was any other QB besides someone like CJ, Mahomes or Allen, the Ravens would have been looking at 5 or 6 sacks. We did give up a few 3rd and longs, but obviously they didnt mean anything. it was as close to prefect as we could have hoped for on defense. A turnover or 2 would have been the icing on the cake. On offense, we have all the weapons we could ask for. We can beat you on the ground and in the air. We can beat you by controlling time of possession. This team feels like the 01 team plus a great offense. Its scary.

1. The only mistake the Texans made was showing up for the game against a clearly superior team. 😀 2. Rex Ryan talks. It's the old "opinions are like a-holes; everyone's got one". That's Rex to a "T". Ryan is a legend in his own mind. Fitz, OTOH, is the real deal! (Ryan was a really good DC, but only a mediocre HC.) 3. Roquan was the big fix last year. He brought leadership, decisiveness, and power/speed to the position. His addition last year also freed up PQ to play in his more natural position, so it was a double win. THIS year, however, on D, the MAIN additions were Van Noy and Clowney, BOTH of whom have had resurgent careers, and they have really added a lot. Also, Mad Mad Madubuike is having a breakout year as well, along with 2nd year safety Kyle Hamilton. (The other HUGE key to the D was getting rid of Wink Dinkle and bringing in Macdonald!) 4. The BIGGEST change was FINALLY getting rid of that albatross Roman. AND the additions of Zay and OBJ and Agholor, along with the continued emergence of Likely (and possibly the injury to Andrews, which forced Lamar to spread the ball around more). 5. Ryan spewed his BS after the Ravens dismantled the Niners, against all odds. Ryan's praise of Lamar? "He wasn't even the best unit out there; it was the defense". Really sexy Rexy? Maybe you put your foot in your mouth on that one, eh? Why do I say that while you sit there spewing garbage? Simple. Insert ANY other current Ravens QB in that spot and the Ravens DON'T beat the Niners. Why? Because LAMAR is the key, not the D, you dolt.

I’d throw Stroud in there too. He actually took zero sacks and no turnovers. When you have that much heat, avoiding making mistakes is that much harder. He’s going to be a great qb. Thanks God we have Lamar, because if you don’t at least have a top 10 qb, maybe top 15, you have no shot at all.

The Ravens can’t continue to come out so flat on offense. There was no rhythm on offense in the first 2 quarters. They let that happen against Chiefs/Bills it’s gonna be tough.

Irregardless the Ravens have been averaging about 30 a game and the defense is averaging way freaking less given up so…..they have been thrashing winning teams. They will roll. Flowers and OBJ’s distraction have been just what the doctor ordered and all that without his top target in Mark Andrew’s who should be returning for this game coming up. Oh and that 12th man was crazy Saturday !!
