When my mental health was at the worse I lived in a horrible state like this. I called a local extreme cleaning organization who did free cleaning for those who had mental health issues. It changed my life gave me back my apartment and was such a weight and allowed me to start to better manage and maintain my life. People who do this work are angels, they change lives, and help in ways you can’t imagine.

the lack of sympathy in the comments is really upsetting. the lady is already quite old herself, doesn’t seem very fit, has to look after her husband full-time, and also do whatever she can to care for herself. obviously it’s horrible and disgusting to live in but this poor woman has an ill husband and most likely poor mental health. how can you call her lazy like that? it doesn’t hurt to have an ounce of sympathy fr.

I found a huge old toy fire engine out side a house...which was covered in thick dust and grease from a kitchen ...I believe...I cleaned it under the shower with a paintbrush and fairly liquid..it came up fantastic and now is like new ! Love it ! Love these two ladies they are awsome !

These ladies are my favorite.

Experience tells me that unless Christine has regular help then it'll be so easy to let things slide and before she knows it her home will be back to how it was. In the last year my health has weakened alarmingly and now I'm dependent on oxygen 24/7 which makes keeping on top of certain chores problematic. As I live alone it had become quite easy to allow stuff to build up, though thankfully nowhere near to the degree Christine's home had deteriorated. Now, via the charity Age UK I have a home help visit once or twice a week for an hour each visit. Okay, it does cost me, few things come for free, but it's less than £20 per hour and it is a great help. Hopefully Christine will, or has, accessed some kind of help.

I am doing this work from last 3 years. Sometimes it is really horrible but when customer gives appreciation to our work. it delights us. The happiness and satisfaction of customer's face make our work worth it.

What can I say you and your helpers are EXCELLENT

I think one of the things I love best about this show is the no judgments as anyone at any time can be placed in a situation beyond their mental capacity to cope, with, whether it be a dirty home or any other trauma. This show is so educational and a breath of fresh air. Love it!
