Or you can tailor your jeans and cut off the excess fabric so it fits your legs perfectly. Antonio shows how to do that in another video.

Rolling up jeans makes you look like a kid. I prefer the right look from the thumbnail. Nothing bad with a bit of excess fabric. Makes you look effortless and not like you tried too hard.

I don't like the excessive ankle-showing that some people do... but then contrary to the "extremeness" of the thumbnail, we see a more reasonable perfectly fine version of it at 8:00 of this video. Those pants are tapered enough that he wouldn't have to even do that, though. I'd prefer he didn't lol. Then there's the issue of no-show socks, where they're SO no-show that it looks like the person just isn't wearing socks at all... which I think is a weird look when the ankles are visible. I like the socks to be matching the shoes and only JUST poke out the top. Can't even tell there's socks there from any distance due to the colour and subtlety, but I think it's better.

@Jjf109nine When you look at old photos of men wearing jeans, you can clearly see that they had their jeans rolled up. Of course, not in the way that is shown in the thumbnail. The jeans were still on the boot. And saying it makes you look like a child just isn't true. Most kids and young teens wear their jeans long, and you can see that the end of their jeans are destroyed because of it.

As a former skateboarder, I still purchase those kinds of sneakers as they frequently come in mid top design and vulcanized rubber. They're both my favorite aesthetic choices and these sneakers are always comfy. I like the retro look of mid top shoes, find lows a tad plain unless they're sleek and low profile like those Chuck's and high tops only if I HAVE to have a certain colorway. But, through watching these videos, I learned I don't want to be a sneaker guy only anymore.

A little factoid about leather sneakers. Until about 30 years ago, athletic shoes all had canvas uppers (the portion above the sole). Athletic shoe companies figured out that the tariff rate (customs duty) in the U.S. was much lower for shoes that had leather uppers rather than fabric uppers. So they introduced athletic shoes with leather uppers. This became a popular look so a lot of people think it was a matter of fashion. But it was really a concept in the import business called 'tariff engineering' - engineering your product to take advantage of quirks in the customs tariff.

I believe that the hype sneakers can have a place, you just have to be prepared to have that sneaker be the signature piece of the fit. Besides, hype doesnt necessarily mean "loud". I think we have reached a place where Jordan 1s are a a versatile classic that can fit a variety of looks and they have plenty of hype.

I don't understand the thumbnail. I don't think there's anything necessarily awful about rolling up the pants a little, but that same look on someone older would be very silly. Either way, very informative video. I just picked up a pair of Goodman Brand sneakers that seem very solid for the price point.

When doing something like a job interview do you recommend wearing a suit that's not solid colored? I have one that has a mild pattern on it (not too crazy).

What's the dress code in the office? You can also check with the HR if you can make adjustments. The key to acing formal interview attire is to dress conservatively. The two best colors for an interview suit are either navy blue or gray.

I don't think it's just a fashion trend. I think tapered jeans or chinos with no break look better than pants rolled up or with a break. It's a cleaner look, and the pants look like they're made to fit you (as opposed to making do with off the rack pants). But of course, different people do all sorts of things, and that's fine. But it's also fine to offer advice on what looks best.

Due to the nature of the leather on the sneakers, the break-in process can take a bit of time, however, once the topline softens they are going to be super comfortable. It may help to wear them on and off for short periods of time if you’re feeling discomfort. Naturally, the material will soften with wear, including in the back heel area. I do not like the thumbnail. I associate being barefoot with undressing to cope with heat. It's fine if you're setting up the bbq in the backyard, but it looks way too sleezy to be worn out in public. Therefore, I naturally disagree with socks that exist soley to pass you off as being barefoot, and folding up your pants to try and show it off is plain tasteless.

OK Antonio it’s time for me to kick something here the leather/canvas kicks are so gangster and fashion forward. If this is so-called real men real style, why are these being promoted? I wear Marc Ecko sneakers every day when I am not at work and I just wanna run around if I am not dressing up as soon as I go, dressy, casual and higher, I lose all sneakers watch Fox News fox sports and such I seriously hate when guys these days are starting to wear stickers with their suits. I understand your feet need to comfortable. I understand that but you are on the air being professional or companies policies in that regard becoming too soft if that’s the case, the answer is yes if they are not then the company to step up and tell him do not wear those shoes. these canvas kicks and leather sneakers are fashion forward that’s not style.

1. Rolling up you pants means your pants don't fit. That's not a classic style. It's a classic sign that you are wearing hand-me-downs and you're in high school. 2. Wearing pants above your ankle is not a classic style. It is a classic sign that you are a teenager and have outgrown your pants. 3. Wearing white sneakers that look like women's keds, with no-show socks, skin tight jeans, and rolled up/short pant legs is a women's style. Capris and Keds were a thing in the 90s for women. Real Men don't wear either of those and they DEFINITELY don't wear them together. 4. White K-Swiss and Girbaud jeans were a 90s fad that was laughed out of the early 2000s. That look isn't classic or timeless - it's a reoccurring fad.
