"Bald" tires refer to the fact that the traction has worn away on your tires, making it very hard to drive. They're basically saying the tires "have gone away"

bald is just the technical term for tire wear like a super worn or bad tire is just really bald like the rubber is pulled off of them by the track

If you have driving aids on you will be slower. Turn them off to complete. I'm not good at the game but its super easy to adapt to eventually

in theory revving the engine repeatedly instead of steadily accelerated is actually worse for the car but congrats that you passed and am excited for the game

A bald tire is a tire that has lost all grip because all of the tread has worn away. In NASCAR, bald tires are the same thing, it’s just when you stay on tires too long and 90% of the rubber has worn away.

What Is a Bald Tire? The part of a tire that contacts the road is called the tread, and this tread wears down over time. When a tire's tread is completely worn down to the wear bars, you have a bald tire. And if your vehicle has bald tires, you need new tires right away-driving on bald tires is not safe.

I just realized that they use the wrong hairpin at Sonoma. They aren't supposed to go the long way around when they get to the top of the hill.

Yeah it’s not that easy on ps 4.. no matter what I’ve tried I keep running out of fuel on the gassed one. Seems like I slowed down and crashed the field in heat 3 to beat that one

I've never been a fan of challenges because they are something you only do once, and then forget about. Also, these challenges are not challenging at ALL.

There are a couple challenges that keep me coming back actually, mostly from the Thunder games. The wrecks avoidance in Thunder 2004 was really fun because the wreck was different everytime and the apron was out of bounds. There was also a challenge at Darlington with the #40 Dodge, where you had to start last and work up to 32nd to pass. The cool thing about that challenge is that you can probably do it for the rest of your life and never finish 1st, so you always have a personal best that you want to beat.

Technically all slick racing tyres are bald. Over here a bald tyre is a tyre with no tread. . Slicks can only be worn not bald.

@@01Zipang They were, and then they were in the Eutechnyx games, and when 704 took over they did it for Heat Evolution. I'm not sure when or why they stopped doing it like that, all I know is that I'm not a fan of the new way.
