Curious about life in a provincial Russian town amid war and sanctions? Companies pay money to KZfaq to have their advertisements play alongside content they support and with content that current and potential customers will not find offensive. There are a lot fewer companies willing to have their products or services advertised with pro-Russian content than there are willing to advertise alongside pro-Ukrainian and/or anti-Russian content. Look, there are thousands of videos uploaded daily. KZfaq is in the driver’s seat. Heck, YT tells creators what type of content that is in demand by advertisers and viewers. There’s no big conspiracy here. Sam just needs to use a little commonsense when thinking about it.

My wife is Russian. I have been married for 20 years. My wife has a daughter living in Cheboksary, so we travel to Russia 4 times a year, staying there for one month, sometimes less. People are very friendly and want to help. Shops are full with everything one needs. I never saw homeless, beggars or people sleeping outside like I see in France, Italy and other European countries. I like the country, though I live in Europe. Many times I think to move to Russia because Europe is destroyed by the EU politics !

@@jiri1456 Don't worry, Russia does not restrict the citizenship of any other country. For example, many Israeli citizens have Russian citizenship.

In my 20 years of living in Russia, I can remember only five such stations: two working, two abandoned, and one 50/50, all of them in the suburban sector of Soviet buildings.

The comments from the Russian store owners are priceless. For example "Trump said he would end the war in 24 hours but they won't let him run"...Also what Sam said about if you are against war you would leave your country because the US started a war against Iraq for no reason. This is true and I knew it was true when the war started. Seeing it happen, I asked myself what would stop the US from attacking other countries for little or no reasons using my tax dollars for weapons and "aid" to foreign countries instead of for schools and infrastructure at home. I thought it was best to leave the US so I did. Unfortunately I chose Germany thinking that with its history of WWII it would be reluctant to get involved in another war. I was wrong about that.

Good old freedom of speech vs freedom of after speech everybody knows it is a FULL SCALE invasion. and only 200 000 from 1 mln soldiers were involved. and later 300 000 more again. so now it is definitely DOUBLE FULL SCALE invasion now. sarcasm. as per my understandind it was and it is LIMITED scale invasion. just compare videos from kiev and from Gaza.

Love the sincerity and honesty of your video, real people, living in a real village. In the last 70 years, Russia invaded 2 countries. In the last 70 years US and EU attacked, bombed, or invaded 52 countries. And financed multiple coup and assassination's of dully democratically elected officials, leaders, ministers, and judges. I wonder who's on the side of peace. LOL NATO brought back Lybia, Syria, Lebanon, Grenada, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Venezuela to the stone ages. Invaded the poor Grenada 3 times, killed on millions people in Indonesia in a CIA/US financed revolution.

@@marcosiebert4548 In Moldova in the early 90s, the Russian army prevented the genocide of the Slavic population of Transnistria, which the Moldovan leadership intended to turn into Romanians. For Georgia, see the OSCE report, where Georgia was named the guilty party that started the conflict on 08.08.2008, attacking South Ossetia and killing Russian peacekeepers who were there on the basis of a UN decision. Chechnya voted for the presence of its republic within the Russian Federation, and General Dudaev never asked the opinion of the Chechen people. And everything else is Western fantasy...

The problem with freedom of speech in Australia (much of the west) is that whether you protest or run as a third party or independent candidate in election, you will not get publicity. And if you do get publicity it will portray and slander you as some sort of freak or trouble maker. Aside from that there are many lobby groups, and methods of co-opting decision makers.

@@alex-0 Yes, they are considerate old feshion, conservatives who support the US Republicans. They are ran by the Murdoch family ' indirectly '. I grew up with that kind of discourse around me, therefore, for me it is common place. But what is popular and acceptable amongst the Australian populace is the left woke ABC ( the national channel). But that may have something to do with their newest revelation, the syncraton. I have to do more research on it to see if they are using this massive quantum computer to turn the population into woke zombies 😂😂😂 😁🥶, that is EKRON 17 next investigation LOL . Great reporting. As for sanctions where it affects the Russian way of life. It seems that they adapt to a new budget and live within their means. That is a plus in my opinion. Too many in the USA live beyond their means and put alot of purchases on credit. That spells disaster. He seems happy to be living in Russia and thats all that matters. 😊
