The sentencing for these crimes is not just utterly pathetic, it's also an incentive for the villains. They know they've got almost nothing to lose.

I don't believe these criminals are dealt with severely enough by the courts. There's little deterrent value in the penalties imposed. The cost of apprehension seem out of proportion to the penalties. Almost seems to be a bit of a joke.

When u catch a driver who has been banned from driving, what do you do? U give him another driving ban. That should work ...

The disqualified driver in the KA was fined and disqualified again...never mind the evasion and dangerous driving offences..wouldn't want to upset him too much!

There should be a program started to teach homeowners to NOT put their car keys in an obvious place. Hide them in a drawer out of the way.

I’m thinking of rigging the keys to the family car to a LOUD alarm that’s only triggered when someone removes them from their hiding place to prevent as many false alarms as possible...
