arms falling asleep is most likely an impingement of a nerve branch... like the brachial plexus is a collection of nerves branching from your spine in your neck its actually under your collar bone. if your lower arm falls asleep its probably your ulnar nerve or radial nerve. and so on and so on.. the tingling is the nerve endings trying to re-fire, so to speak, the messaging back to your brain. when something falls asleep extending that limb takes pressure off of those nerve bundles.... thats why mummy sleeping is good because no nerves are being impinged !

I like how you seem so confident as if you feel that there is no way for you to get the drawing wrong and you keep coming up with ideas but whenever I try your style I end up being stuck or the drawing I do isn't as great as I imagined it'd be. I'd even sketch it out first to be more confident on what I want to do. Keep up the great work~

The cheese in most comic and cartoon mouse traps is mostly modelled on Dutch Gatenkaas (hole cheese), which tastes a lot better on its own than Swiss cheese. Swiss cheese is great in fondues, dip some bread in molten Emmenthaler or something like that, really great! Try some Gouda or Dutch Boerenkaas sometime, Peter. You’ll like that for sure.

The sleeping arm thing was so realistically told, I had flashbacks to multiple occasions of it happening that I had forgotten about. Btw, Peter, sleeping in one position isn’t great. It happens, but it isn’t something to practice. Your muscle groups, tendons and joints need different positions to relax. When you get older you’ll notice certain joints start to ache when you lie in one position too long. Moving in your sleep is quite good for you. A small btw2, your body needs before midnight sleep as well. Not necessarily every night, but definitely regularly. 8,5 hours is great, but if it’s always from 3am-11:30am that’s not great. You sometimes need 11pm-7:30am. But you do you, hope you never run into the issues I ran into.

Laying perfectly still is a fun idea but in actuality very bad for your body☹️ if the same area of skin is constantly smushed by your body weight it is not getting the blood supply it needs and can become irritated(you may have heard of pressure sores). Normally healthy people move around and this is not a problem but for people in the hospital or a nursing home who have trouble moving this can lead to problems. Next time you wake up in a different position, thank your sleeping brain for helping keep your skin healthy : )

The thing where your arm falls asleep is called parathynesis (if I remember that correctly) and you almost hit the nail right on the head, it's just blood flow is restricted from your nerves so your brain can't signal anything to move. The tingling is the feeling once blood starts to flow back into your arm kind of giving your nerves sensory overload. Probably didn't remember that exactly right, oh well.

when the bloodflow is cut off, the nerves lose their ability to function. This makes it go numb. When you get the tingly feeling, your limb is "waking up" because the nerves are refiring in an almost "testing" kind of function. and then when bloodflow is finally normal again the nerves act normal again. If you let it stay numb too long you can get gangrene and your limb will die
