Love the bad jokes! This bushing fell onto the floor when i took the carriage out to replace the belt. Once I figured out what it was and where it went, I noticed that the bushing stays in place even though the side with the clip is missing. Will order a replacement.

replaced a belt and encoder (from LPS) and put the machine back together, i have no idea where the bushing ended up, or when it fell off, but luckily i had a spare from LPS on hand (left over from fixing my other Z3200 7 years ago...... great video, thanks for the reminder!

Bushing fell out during the belt replacement and I thought it was just cable clip, the paper carriage will then decide to impact onto the paper and destroy one of the print heads if you don't have it installed.

I replaced the belt and carriage bushing. Now the paper shreds while trying to load a roll. It appears to occur on the right side of the machine where the carriage enters the paper area. Is there another part in need of replacement or other tips for fixing this problem?

Bob, please, can I send you a short video with an problem of my DesignJet T1100?, when I load photo paper, carriage hits with ink maintainance box, and scratch the paper. Solenoid is working good, I have it saved in a video. If I load photo paper but in menu options I type "Normal Paper", Plotter loads it as a Normal paper and work good, but I haven't quality print and options of photo paper.
