Disclaimer : Explained to best of my knowledge. E&OE
The image on my rear view camera got laterally inverted. Left was showing on the Right on the screen. The image flipped sides Left - Right.
Resetting the screen also didn't work. Tried to use the toggle switches on the screen to rotate/flip the image, but it didn't work. I even tried to change the polarity of the camera wire, but it didn't work.
The display screen was ok, so I bought a new rear view camera only.

Yeah, as it was cheaper to buy new camera which cost INR300 (USD 0.4)

Only camera cost INR400 to 500.. and I couriered tat camera to a guy who is using it as his front camera.. ironically the camera worked ok in another car display.. watch the video.. Note: For camera also you need same camera like rear, not a laterally inverted one.

Go to factory setting in head unit And close the option reverse trajectory or reverse mirror off

Im looking for the same one for the front bumper but it's not available you're lucky you got it automatically!😂😂 can use it as front camera now did you find any wire to reverse the mirror image if yes I will buy back camera and use it as front camera

No, for front also u'll get flipped image.. right will show on left..

Dont waste time.. camera is cheap, buy a new one.. INR300 was cost for my new camera in India..

I m with u. Why change polarity when the system was working fi e so far. I too faced same problem. After buying checked n found ok. Then when fitted found issue like you. I too hv 4.3 inch screen loke you. Ordered nu cam today.

I did solve the problem. Got a HUD GPS dash head-up screen H6. Has a place for the smart phone & flip-up screen to reverse the image.

No, inverting the polarity not working. This camera was fine for 1year when suddenly realized one day that image got flipped..🤦‍♂️

The monitor usually is set to display the flipped image. Not all monitors have the setting though.

It was ok before... suddenly after 6-7months one day realized that the image got flipped.. Tried with the switch behind the monitor, but it didnt work. Tried with a different monitor, it didnt work. Tried to change the +- of the camera wired, no image display. So, got a new camera. Further, some camera has a third wire which need to be cut if image is flipped. But than in my case the camera has only two wire and was working fine initially.

Trust me, you dont need laterally inverted image for front view... jus put the similar reverse camera on the front, it will show Left on left and Right on right.. u dont need mirror image..

No, for front bumper also L is on right.. flipped image. The camera was ok and used for about 1year. But suddenly it flipped image. I was about to change the display, but than figured out that the issue was with the camera. Some camera do come with a green wire which if cut would flip the image.

No. It can be fixed from the car stereo option. I fixed mine.

The camera here is not linked with the stereo.. its a independent unit

@@MafiaGaming-zl1os there is an option called reversal track reverse. Switch it off. It is in factory category. Also go to the other option which is mirror reverse camera and switch it off too. I had the same problem and now it is fixed. If you dont know how to do it, then simply reset your car stereo to its factory settings.

That option is not working in the screen. Neither reset working. If you have seen the complete video, you can see I have even fitted a new screen, but did not work..

@@afteroffice_yt Not sure what happened to you, but for mine, I found out if I just cut the small white cable, this solved my issue.

I know how to fix this. You need to cut the white cable and then flip the camera.

I tried reversing the wires, its not working.. actualy a few type of cameras comes with third white wire. While fitiing the camera, if you see inverted image, you need to cut the white wire. In my case the camera was working fine for a year and suddenly, the image inverted.

There was only two wires in this camera. There are other cameras tat comes with the extra white wire protuding out of the connector

This is the most stupid solution ever. Every camera can have a correct view if you adjust it in the settings of your screen! There are options to select the camera type and mirror view!!!!!!!!!
