@@ChrisreedbeatsLots of reason tutorials are visually messed up . Screen is fuzzy, grainy, too far away. Yours are an exception. Excellent presentation and quality .

Chris this tutorial is excellent! You've really got a knack for teaching Reason in an incredibly understandable way. There were even a few things I learned that I wasn't aware of in Reason myself.

Also, a thorough video on how to use the sequencer would be very helpful, I've lost so much time and music trying to use it, would love to learn how to use it properly!!!!!!

Really really good tuts Bro .. it's difficult to find good tutorials about Reason on KZfaq this software is underrated for me .. it's different than Ableton and all others but he has it's own signature and the fact that it's now possible to use it as a plug in .... that's change the game.... thanks for your time

Thanks for the video. Im having trouble being able to record my jupiter xm directly into Reason 12. Reason reads the midi signal fine for using the Reason vst synths but trying to use the jupiter as a hardware synth is not working. Im stumped

You should just be able to create an audio track and then pick the input/s where the Jupiter is coming into on your audio interface. If you are using a separate midi controller to play the Jupiter create a midi out device in Reason and select the Jupiter as the device. You will also have to have the audio track associated with the Jupiter in order to get the sound into Reason.

I have an ultrawide screen, but Reason never save the windows layouts from one project to other, there are any solutions for that?

If you detach the rack or mixer and set it to a separate monitor it will save that layout for sure. For your ultra wide situation, I am not certain but however you last leave your file that is how it should reopen. If you haven’t already, try detaching the rack or mixer by hold control or command on Mac and press F6 for rack or F5 for mixer. Then save the file and close reason.

When setting up to loop the indicators numbers, the on screen keys , the regroove mixer, also Q record are not showing up at the bottom. How can I set them up to show up at the bottom.

That is your transport area. What version of Reason are you on?

This isn't really "from installation". I installed Reason 12, and can't get past the "Cannot install template songs" error, and the "File not found error". Reason won't open, and the tech support isn't very responsive.

So sorry your having difficulties. Have not had these issues before. Your first course of action is to reinstall. But you need to delete anything Reason Studios related on your cpu. When you install make sure no other software is running. And clearly choose the directories you want the program to install to. Try running as an administrator once you get everything installed.
