Hang on to it. An oldie but a goodie! At least for me, it’s just a reliable and worry free ownership experience. I get it, there are more technologically advanced trucks in the market with bells and whistles galore. But, I know I can get to work, play a little, and even take the kiddos to school without ever having to worry about BS warning lights and gremlins. And, it looks super cool even from an older guy’s prospective like myself. I sold my Raptor, bought a Tacoma and haven’t looked back!!!

Yes, but that was in late 2019. It was a 2018 model. I couldn’t live with it being such a difficult vehicle to park, to include my garage. That said, if those conundrum’s don’t bother you, a Raptor is still one the baddest trucks on the planet. For me, my Tacoma TRD pro was simply easier to live with. I sincerely chose that over the the sportiness and power that Raptor was superior in.

By the time I found out about all the issues (plus price and markups), which there are many, I couldn't get a '21 for less than 10K over msrp. Ended up buying a '19 so I could at least get the color I wanted being I was paying over new msrp for a used '19. Don't make my mistake, it'll cost yah.

If Toyota extended the bumper to bumper warranty from 3 years/36,000 miles to 5 years $70,000, then I would buy the 2024 Tacoma. The problem with all new generation of cars are they tend to be riddled with problems. It takes about two production years of the new model to work out the problems. Alas Toyota will not extend the warranty, affecting their reputation.

I got a 2006 Toyota tundra double cab V8 …with 145k cost me 13k also own a 2002 Toyota Tacoma limited 4x4 double cab with the TRD package with 200k miles cost me 9k..no where near 50k .. I like the 1st generation tacoma and tundras over the new stuff

According to KBB, trade value for my 21 Tundra DC with 37k isn't much less than a 22 DC with 9k miles. My 21 cost alot less than the 22! I'm wondering if the 24 Taco redesign will bump the value of a 23!

The world market of trucks have similar versions of these vehicles, for example mexico has their own version of chevy's, which some of them look crappy as hell, at least here in the states trucks have a bit of charm.

And how much more is this going to cost? And I don't need a 14-inch screen while I'm driving. I think I will be happy with a 23 TRD off road quad cab with the long bed. All that tech stuff just costs money.
