One of my birds won't bond with me, but my other bird was so close to me even though i didn't tamed her. Both of them lived together,so the bird that won't trust me, started to trust as soon he saw the other budgie being so close to me :]

I feel bad whenever I watch videos of affectionate budgies. Mine has no interest in treats, and I've tried a bunch of food. She really likes cantaloupe but the only way I know is because I've put different food in her food bowl to see which one she finishes so I can use it to manipulate her later. She trusts my hand(s) in the cage, I play with her using toys and she nibbles my fingers. She has never willingly gotten out of her cage which is a good thing considering she's not trained. She's only perched on my finger once which is when she accidentally got out of her cage and was stifled and too tired to care. She lets me get pretty close to her but not enough to touch her, she gets freaked out if I try and she gets annoyed whenever I put my finger near her to touch her. Yes, I *have* been very patient, waiting for her to do her own thing and approach me for several minutes, I play with her daily, etc. She won't budge. I get sad because I feel like she loves me but isn't affectionate but I truly believe we can be best friends, of course I wouldn't force it on her and if it's just her personality then I guess I'll have to accept it. Any tips would be nice. I've owned two budgies previously so I have some experience training them

Yea, I've tried for almost a year and nothing. My bird absolutely hates me. He freaks out when I try to get near the cage to fill his food or water. Goes absolutely crazy. Always gives like a sinister grin, like head down and eyes forced up. Doesn't like my kids and all. I've watched all the videos on how to tame them, play soft music, toys, big cage. Put my finger in the cage for minutes a day like the videos say. Let him get plenty of sleep, he's always warm. You name it, I've tried it for months and months. Don't know what else to do? It's pretty pointless to even keep him. At this point, he does nothing but make an absolute mess and they are very dusty birds. Always dust, feathers and food all over the place. My wife and I are constantly cleaning up after that bird. I'd love to give him to a pet store or give him away but it was a gift for my son. He's just a nasty, mean little sh*t and I hate to say it but it's even fun having him around anymore. Doesn't bring happiness and excitement like our cockatiel used too. I've even set up a water fountain so he can bathe and nope, didn't even go near it. The thing hasn't touched water besides drinking it for.. God knows how long. Now he's just starting to smell. My house is starting to smell like an old pet shop. Any ideas or suggestions from anyone hear they'd dealt with this problem and some how fixed it or made it better? I'm all ears at this. I don't want to give up on him yet but we're pretty damn close. If it can survive in the wild, I would have let him go but that's really dangerous and wouldn't do that.

One of my budgie got attacked by a rat and god badly injured,he lost one finger in the foot in this attack and badly hurt ,that time i treated him with medicine and give his favourite foods. Before that he was scared of me but after that incident he sit in my hand while eating.

My budgie's cage fell and he fell with the cage! He is ok but he flew and we caught him. And he was soo stressed! We have him for 1 month so he is not tamed but I made some progress! And now he lost everything! He hasn't been the same since then this was yesterday but all day he didn't chirp! He didn't play like he always does. And now I am very worried for him!
