The talk about an unsafe environment in the entertainment business was reignited after Park Myung-soo's creepy behavior towards Aespa's Winter.

This is actually so sickening. I love the fact that Sistar was not only looking out for their female rookies but also gave us like an idea of what really lies behind the scenes. My heart goes out to all those poor women :((

Kinda makes you realise why so many k pop girls are always waring such short skirt and dressed as schoolgirls so often..the men that run these agencies are sick..these young girls need to be treated far far better 😢

But when female idols get revealing clothes, fans will easily blame the companies and stylist when those female idols have right to say no the clothes they don't feel comfortable. Is like companies and stylist will force them show off their bodies. There many female idols feel comfortable wearing revealing clothes

Generally now the kpop industry you are expected not to be in a relationship at lrast for the first 7 years contract, usually after the 10th anniversary.. fans are quite open to news of their idols dating or marriage. But then by then most idols are like in their late 20s or 30. So their fans are probably also married or dating.

I don't think them scared of Men. Them scared of their fans perspective. Fyi, if them scared for men, most of their manager and agency founder in kpop is men. Some of them also afraid because rules in their agency . Them also have feelings. Like jessica ex snsd said, them can date but their manager must know. Them don't want trouble

When some men talk about how these women are dressed in an objectifying manner, they called insecure, controlling and too traditional. Even if you use the excuse of in this case the men that own these record labels are at fault, then what about all the other women that are not in any record label, but they are regular people but choose to dress in such a way? There are predators out there, so that is a man being protective. Same goes for him telling you don't go to clubs because crazy stuff happen there. I understand that this should not be happening, however we cannot prevent some people's wrongdoings. This doesn't just apply to "MEN" but "WOMEN" as well. But we must listen we are being told what not to do because you will be the one to bear the consequences of your stubborness.

Ah here we go again, the same old "they were molested because of their revealing clothes..." Do some research my friend. At least half of the females are reported to be wearing normal long sleeve/long pants or skirt when the harassment occurs. I hate to say this, but I'd been a victim of molestation for 2 years, at 13/14, while I was literally wearing a hijab (I'm not a hijabi but had to wear it on some occasions because of rules.).

@@too.original im sorry you went such a traumatic experience. I didnt say dressing modestly eliminates all chances of a person getting molested. I meant be careful of how you display yourself because you'll attract unwanted attention that can lead to an awful experience. What people see draws out a reaction. Others won't do anything others will feed their predatorial desires. If a woman dresses in a revealing manner it induces lustful desires from those who's attention she caught.

@@too.original in my personal opinion, it's like saying people will broke into locked house. Why bother locking house if most thief broke into locked one anyway? Because if we can't control how people behave, we have to take an measure of how to protect ourselves. Wearing proper clothes i think is one of measure to prevents it. Yes there will be still perverts and criminals out there. But we're trying to be safe. Not wearing revealing clothes, not going to shady places, etc. There are also widely known case of those preperators saying " the women is asking for it" because their victim wearing revealing clothes. Minimalise the chance of being a victim by not giving the bad guy a reason. I know lots of victim are dressed properly, but i think most people also forget to put the fact that those preperators are looking for prey that is near them. They be watching something racy or seeing sexy women somewhere but when they have to release their lust, they look for the available and nearest victim. If they even targeted a properly dressed one, the not properly dressed one will become even in higher risk.
