Finally, nakahanap ako ng katulad kong super loyal sa shopee but... Maraming "buts"... I'm with Shopee for 7 years now. I consider myself as one of the pioneers. Wala pang Live Selling noon when i set up my account. 2017 when i activated my Seller's Account with Shopee. And take note, i dont sell on any other platform, only with Shopee, may benta o wala, ganun ka-loyal. Those were the days, when Anne Curtis was one of the endorser pa (I saw ads, Anne is with Lazada now). Nakaka-sad that my account is frozen now. After long long years of being loyal, my account was frozen. I'm a PWD working from home via Shopee Live Selling but I am no longer allowed now due to all of this BIR requirements which needs compliance. Wala man lang options for Sellers na hindi nga nakaka gross sale ng p5k/month. I sell, mostly, preloved items. Kung si Miss Tins nga ganito ang experience at nafi-feel, how much more po sa katulad naming small, so small business owners. I feel like basta na lang kami tinapon. That's what we got despite our sincerity and loyalty. IT HURTS.😣😔😩

hindi ako seller pero may konting alam ako dahil nag international dropshipping ako nung 2018 at may ilan ako malaking fb pages. napansin ko, karamihan na products ng shopee puro Chinese sellers na, parang Amazon FBA yung tipong pinapadala ng Chinese sellers mga products nila sa mga warehouse ng Shopee. Wala talaga laban mga pinoy kung China made product ibebenta.

*I feel like Shopee, Lazada & Tiktok only used small Filipino businesses, "promoted" them to us during pandemic in order to promote their platforms in the country, but the intent was to make Filipino sellers leave the platform by imposing these rules & fees, so that the CHINESE SELLERS that sell IN BULK get the lion's share of the market. I now see more overseas sellers with cheaper prices being promoted, while local/domestic products have no choice but to raise prices. In the end, the local buyer chooses the cheapest option - the ones sold by overseas sellers.*

Ganito rin ang hinala ko eh. Kasi marami sa mga seller ngayon ay sa Alibaba kumukuha ng supplies nila.Pero para maging feasible pa na kikita ka dapat by bulk ang bibilhin mo o kaya ay sa China ka talaga naka base. Kung mag import ka dadagdag pa sa puhunan ang importation fee .Kung dita ka sa Pinas kukuha ng supplier ang taas na ng presyo at di mo na siya maibenta unless palugi na talaga ang bentahan.

@@jvjv9241 Just look sa pricing nila sa the online platforms. Who knows how they do it, but they are doing it. Seems like sellersoverseas also have special arrangements withthe platforms kasi free shipping din sila. Perhaps they have local bodegas/warehouses of their items for sale here already since when I ordered from an overseas seller once, the item arrived faster than from the local seller I ordered from also- both the same courier din ang ginamit ko. Kung wholesale manufacturing talagang cheaper than local. If you attend the Export shows and yung apparel if you buy them in bulk sa kanila parang 5 pesos/tshirt, P20-50 jackets or jeans per piece if you order minimum 1000 pieces and ever cheaper if more than that. Philippines is not into large-scale manufacturing; we import more from other countries to resell locally. We are not even producers since we also import cotton. Dependent tayo sa importation even with basic commodities, oil and electronics- we don't make enough to supply the population & we don't have the machineries/ factories. Mahal kasi ang buwis natin kumpara sa kanila & cost of running business (permits, fees, suweldo, benefits for employees, transportation for products, etc it adds up sa pricing) compared to other asian countries, mas mamaba ang buwis nila sa mga bansa nila, nagtanong ako nung nag-tour kami sa Vietnam at Thailand, with support from their governments sa mga small scale para lumaki sila ng mabilis.. Most manufacturing businesses here don't make enough to compete against imported goods in terms of price & quality mass market. We can't even make good packaging of products, we import the good kinds of plastics/wrappers.

It’s been 2 years also since we started selling in shopee and thank you so much for your teachings mam tins. Since small business lg nmn kmi and super liit lg din yung income monthly we also decided to stop selling na. Sometimes in a month we only got less than 5k tapos ipapacomply sayo yung mga bir and dti. We hope na sana magkarun si shopee ng income bracket kung sin o lg need magcomply. Nkakaenjoy din noon everytime my order ka lalo na mgpack. Ansaya lg talaga noon. 😊

Sa Lazada halos 30% ang kaltas. Wala naman akong sinasalihang promo nila. Noong una parang nasa 8% lang ang kaltas niya sa selling prices, pero recently ang laki na. Iyong binenta ko na ang selling price ko ay 300 pesos ang nakuha ko nasa 228 pesos lang 😢 Kaya pag seller ka sa Lazada dapat nasa 40% ang markup price mo para may kitaan ka. Iyon nga lang pag masyadong mataas ang price mo, wala na ring bibili.

I am happy for you maam TIN na nahanap mo na yung Dream Job mo. 😊 Truth madami ng trabaho worload biro mo 1 or dalawang tao lng kayo ng asawa mo tapos bibigyan ka workloas na parang nag mamanage ka ng isang malaking company. Wala ka naman extra income pang bayad sa mga CPA dahil ikaw mismo nag start plng din kaso ito nga pinasok na ng magaling na BiR na di man lang pinag isipan makapag tax lng. Walang pakialam sa mga rulling nila khit di naman applicable sa online selling gusto ipagawa din. Sobrang stressful tlga eh. Kaso kailaingan Lumaban kahit di na maganda yung gngwa nila. Ok lng naman mag comply basta maayus naman yun mga rulling nila.

Same. 8years seller here.. Walang kahirap hirap dati, walang fees. Now wala nmn sana problema kung inaayos nila yung policy nila. Napaka-unfair lang. pataas ng pataas yung fees nila pero yung policy nila palala ng palala..

Hello po, new seller ako at small following. So I did close mine as well. I barely make sales and it's one of my income resources so it's saddening na I closed it na. Nawalan na din ako ng gana to sell in any shop kasi kahit sa international may tax din babayaran na di naman worth it if mababa yung following and sales. So when I get back again, I'll try to find a shop where I can sell my merch. Thank you sa advices and tips. Best of luck on your journey and I hope we all find ours!

Nagsara na din ako ng shopee shop. Sobrang stressful yung preloved items lang binebenta ko at hindi rin regular tapos sabi sakin ng shopee cx service hindi daw exempted ang mga tulad ko. Imagine, ang laki ng gastos para sa mga requirements samantalang barya lang yung nakukuha ko for selling. Lalo pang stressful yung pagod at time para magasikaso, kaya wag na lang. 😢

Yan din reason ko kaya nag stop din ako. Preloved lang din yung binibenta ko at maliit lang ang kita. Tapos yung magagastos mo for requirements is mas mahal pa sa kinikita mo. Kaya nag stop na ako.

Good day Tins, thank you sa Blog mo now I am fully decided to close my shopee account... coz for the past 5 months Im am still thinking if I have to comply kaya lang na stress talaga sa mga papers na need to provide kay shopee plus relate talaga ako na ang daming changes nila sa mga shipping ang commissions nila na ang laki na... konti na lang kinikita mo tapos may tax, and ang laki ng commission nila. I guess it is because sa mga endorsers nila na binabawi nila sa ating mga sellers and buyers...kaya thank you sa blog mo...ang natagal na kitang pinapanood since I planned to become seller ni shopee. I'm a seller of Shopee too, since 2018. On and off. 2022 when I decided to sell fully in Shopee and I started watching your videos. This year lang I complied with BIR, DTI, etc. And this year din ang daming naiba sa policy ni Shopee. Still tried to convince myself na itutuloy ko to pero nakakainis every time bubuksan ang seller app, ang daming pop up with new policy. Thank you for this video because now I've decided to stop selling in Shopee. Ang iharap ilaban ni Shopee.😢 😢

Suportahin ka po namin sa new blog nyo,, kwento ko lang, 1year lng ako naging seller sa shoppee, after 1year sabi ko ok na ako dto sa shoppee, kasi kumikita na ako, ayun nga nag resign ako ng work para mkafull time na, ng bigla nman nagbaba ng memo na need na mag register sa bir etc. Oras na pinasok mu kasi si bir meron k ng responsibilidad, baka penaltay malala ako lagi dahil no idea ako sa ganung bagay, kaya i dicided to stop n agad sa shopee as a seller, ngayun dahil nagresign na ako sa work ko, nag pe freelance nlng tech nlng muna, salamat miss tin, marami akong natutunan sa inyo m, sa mga turo nyo, godbless😇🥰

Nung nagstart magkaroon ng fees si Shopee medyo nararamdaman ko na soon hihina ang kita at baka madaming seller ang umalis sa Shopee. That time nagplano na talaga ako ng ibang option kung sakaling mangyari yun at tulad mo ang bagsak ko din ay Canada 🤣 Pero kahit ganyan nangyari sa Shopee, malaki ang tulong sakin nyan para makapag abroad at masasabi ko pa din Salamat Shopee!

my experience with the RTS is that the buyer returned a product different from the actual item I shipped but shopee still refunded the payment of the buyer despite my dispute. Nawalan na nga ako ng kita/product, kinaltasan pa ako para sa shipping. Lugi negosyo and you are right na hindi seller friendly ang shopee.

nag send na ko lahat ng requirements kay shoppee,. bir,mayors etc,. pero d parin ako makapag post,. tapos ilang months sabi dedeactivate daw ung seller account ko kasi no activity,. wala ka naman makausap sa shoppee about sa d ako makapag upload,. kaya d na ko nag try sa shoppee

Mam ask ko lang kasi mag stop na din ako mag online selling eh. Pano po ung seller account at ung normal na account na ginagamit sa pag mamine. Iisa lang. need ba burahin un para ma make sure na din na naglilive parang iclose na. Di ko kasi alam ang gagawin salamat ❤

Ganun din ako, been selling on Shopee for 3yrs. pinaubos ko ng paluge ang items ko at kinlose ang shop dahil di na worth it, abonado na sa dami gastos, from printing, pouch at kaltas nila. Sakit pa sa ulo na laging delayed ang pick-up, suki nako ng chat center nila di naman nareresolve yung issue ko.

agreed, kelangan ng silipin ng DTI ang mga online shopping platforms, sobrang laki na ng commission na wala na sa lugar. i onced sold an item for 4600 pesos, 3500 lang nakuha. grabe ang shopee.

New seller here in Shopee, sa ngayon for 6mos wala pa akong commission fee. Hintay ko po ang vlog niyo about e-platforms na wala masyadong hinihinging mga compliance kasi hassle talaga. Wala ka pang kita, nagastusan kana😢

@@albertsguppyadventure4293I did my research po, I opt to open a shopee account kaysa sa Lazada since may malaki ang seller fee kay Lazada. Saka I'm a stay at home na gusto din kumita kahit nasa bahay ako and wala akong pondo for renting a physical shop. I know business is a gamble. Samahan ko na lang ng dasal at sipag since nagbebenta din ako dito samin and via fb marketplace
