ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Yes we know from all your other comments that you don’t like Gwen. Did you hear Reba say she loved Gwen’s heart and claimed her as an Okie? Reba has also lived in LA when filming her tv show and in Nashville for a big part of her music career. Gwen’s probably in OK more than Reba these days, but nobody is disputing Reba is the queen of country, including Gwen. Reba will rightfully get most of the country artists, but if Gwen gets a couple it is deserved. As a matter of fact, any of these coaches are talented and experienced enough to coach any genre.

Gwen is 54. Would be irresponsible to have a baby at that age. She'd be in her 70s when the kid graduates high school, that's just crazy. Gwen values the relationship she has with her parents in adulthood, she'd want her kids to have their parents in their lives for a long time.

The same could be said for Blake. He will 48 next birthday. My husband was 49 and 50 when our kids were born. Even though he’s in great health it’s not ideal, and I’m younger. In their case, they are both older. If they had kids and something happened to both of them, they have so many loving relatives that would step up and raise them. But like you said, it’s not fair to the child. I really feel like this is the reason Blake didn’t pursue kids further after getting together with Gwen. He chose true love instead of a younger woman.

@@terri4049 I agree with you. Blake loves teaching the boys how to drive, fish, play guitar... I highly doubt he'd want a baby to be added to the household. He's been working towards having a calm, peaceful life. His career decisions in the past few years reflect a man who's had enough of always being busy and tired. I'm fairly certain he doesn't want to enter a new stage full of diapers and sleepless nights. Even if he were married to a younger woman, that's just not the stage of life he wants to be in. The current co-parenting arrangement is perfect for him: half of the time it's family time, the other half it's quality time as a couple and time for his buddies. The whole family dynamic would be uprooted with a baby.

Sadly it’s too late now But at least he’s a good step dad to Gwen’s kids and got to experience that type of life 54 is very rare to have kids My mum got me when she was like 40 and now she’s 60 while I’m 20… it’s kinda weird to have this huge age gap when all my classmates have only 25 years of age gap with their parents 😅

I love Gwen Stefani and respect her love for Oklahoma but would even respect her more if she stayed true to herself. Choose a main side Gwen and moonlight as the other. Meaning if you're a popstar, just act and dress like it 80% of the time and for fun and kicks dress up country and show your support for those fans. You can't be both. You can't be a Cubs and a Soxs fan, 50/50 you lean into one more than the other- it's natural. And quite frankly, more respectful.

this is absolute nonsense. she lives in LA and OK, of course she's wearing boots and camo when she's in OK, and wear what she usually wears in LA. She CAN be both, it's not being disrespectful. If you go to certain muslim countries, they will expect you to dress modestly and some place are more covered than others, that's being respectful, not the opposite.

What are you talking about? People aren’t one dimensional. They express themselves many different ways no matter where they live. They also dress for the occasion. Gwen has always had eclectic style and mixed many elements. This is an entertainment show. If you’ve seen pictures or videos, when she’s home on the ranch relaxing, she’s in camo or sweats. She’s competing with Reba here for country artists. Of course she’s going to point out her experiences. That’s not being disrespectful if it’s the truth. She DOES live in Oklahoma half the time. She DOES have 2 #1 country hits with Blake. Again people aren’t one dimensional. They change and adapt to their life experiences while the core remains the same.

She’s not playing. She’s stating facts to win over an artist. Gwen lives in Oklahoma half of the year with her husband. She lives a country lifestyle there. She has 2 billboard #1 country hits with Blake. She co-write a country song with Blake (Go Ahead and Break My Heart). She has a CMT award with him. She was chosen by Wynonna to sing the remake of “Love is Alive”on the upcoming Judds tribute album. She’s performed for the Opry twice, CMA summer fest, Opry duck hunt, CMT awards with Carly Pearce doing a rock song, tons of country festivals and shows with Blake doing both rock and country songs. Gwen has plenty of experience around Nashville, country music, and performing country music over the past 8 years. Why wouldn’t she point that out to a country contestant? It would be stupid not to!!
