A grown MARRIED woman who uses her husband and his money to play teenager. Getting boyfriends? Sending the hubby to the guest house? Defense attempting to shift blame…”the kids were not in the crosswalk”. How would they know when she certainly didn’t? Doesn’t matter because her airbag deployed when she hit and killed two children. Did her lover’s airbag deploy and have damage? One child reportedly was on the hood of her car after impact. How exactly did she miss that? Intoxicated with combination of margaritas and Valium, and obviously speeding (as Mercedes has a pre safety feature that would have prevented her from hitting children if she had been driving at or below 45 mph). She should ask for a plea and beg the parents for forgiveness. I don’t care how rich she is by marriage or how she is attempting to down dress herself for court…she still killed two children racing the road with her lover. Time to face the consequences of her actions. Hope the pictures of those boys haunt her every day for the rest of her life. Wishing the parents peace throughout this trial 🙏🏻

This Rebecca Grossman character is despicable. The evidence is blatantly apparent-- the black box in the luxury SUV that she had been speeding in, the airbags having been deployed, and the damage to the front fender. She didn't even bother to drive back to see what her SUV struck. What more do you want!? She has the audacity (and all her plastic surgeon husband's money) to deny killing two innocent children, hire the best legal defense lawyers in LA, and delay the trial for 3, almost 4, years, hoping that the pain and suffering she caused would somehow dissipate and that the public would forget. To top it off, her new defense strategy is to pin the blame on her lover-- that it was his vehicle that killed the two boys. Really!? Had this been your average, poor working-class Angelo who struck and killed these boys, and took off from the scene, denying any knowledge, like this Grossman, the court system would have wasted no time to convict and throw that person in prison for 40 years, 20 for each child. Equal justice!

As we learn more and more about Rebecca Grossman, she is emerging as a despicable person who has carefully constructed a false image as a good person. Her remarks to the CHP officer, after being caught speeding, were "I hope you never need the services of the burn center." Her husband, probably a decent guy who works long hours, gets a call that his wife Rebecca was arrested for drunk driving and killed two little boys. On top of that, he finds out that she has been having sex with some other guy - a "has-been" baseball player for the Dodgers. She also murdered those kids and met her boyfriend for margaritas in the car that he bought for her.

I believe it would constitute an admission of guilt, but something tells me she won't do it at her sentencing either. Her daughter told an enormous lie on the stand - a whole story, actually. After her mother was convicted, Alexis said this to the boys' family, 'Why did you do this?' The apple clearly fell an inch from the tree.

My heart is with the Iskander family. Prayers and positive thoughts. I lost a brother at 12. I was 8. It was confusing for me for years. Then the reality came. This family deserves justice and to begin healing. The Grossman's have been nothing but heartless. No apologies. No remorse. This could be considered a hate crime enhancement: The driver was Rebecca Grossman, Jewish, and the children and grieving family are from Iran. Given the current geopolitical climate, I wouldn't be surprised if this was intentional. However, if it was not intentional, it is still criminal - this meets the burden of proof for negligent vehicular homicide. Here's how to tell if this was the boyfriend or the woman - cell phone data. Also, establishing an alibi with your best friend, is not the same as cellular provider data. This should be pretty open and shut. It's asinine for this to be dragging out. If this was to happen to my kids, God Forbid, I'd sue for wrongful death, take her out financially, and push for a hate crime enhacement. Gracefully, I'd offer her the option to plea out to negligent vehicular manslaughter, and regardless, if she accepts, she'll die in jail with a 5 yr sentence. If she declines and doubles down... Well... Here comes more dramatics for the viewers! My persistent curiousity - What's Grossman got to say to this, when this is a 3+ yr old case?
