We pronounce Canberra as Canbra and we don’t enunciate any letter, just can-bra or can-bru, depends on how much of an accent we have. I don’t know if it said it in the intro but Canberra is our capital city. And to be honest I think most aussies would be more than happy to see this place burn.

I have never pronounced Canberra with 3 syllables in my life. I've only heard with 3 syllables from American KZfaqrs. Even our new presenters on Channels 7, 9 and 10 says it as 2. We do not care about pronunciation rules when it comes to town and city names, even along my train line Riverstone becomes Rivo, Schofield becomes Schoies and Parramatta = Parra. We ain't trolling we actually live like this because we don't care. Melbourne and Brisbane rhyme. Hobart, Darwin, Perth and Adelaide are pretty normal. Not that any of this matters at all or will change your life in anyway XD. Unless you come here on holidays of course.
