pravus, i checked the wiki when initiatives say: increases support especially amongst hostile populations it means that those initiatives are good at converting the hostile population to neutral population when initiatives say: hostile population reduces effectiveness it means that those initiatives are more focussed on increasing the amount of supporters via taking them from the neutral pool. The amount of supporters needed to stabilise a zone decreases when the amount of hostile population in that zone decreases

If you click on a zone's information card thing when there's a battle going, it'll show the strength of your troops and the insurgents

Did Pravus record all these in a single batch or is he still ignoring the map modifiers that would tell him the things he discovers and is confused about during the playthrough?

The railroads could have an interesting thing with them. Moving soldiers long distances removes them from their supply line and temporarily makes them weaker but the railroads would reduce the debuff and at max would remove it.

"Hostile Population reduces effectiveness" means that the larger amount of hostiles there are in a zone, the lower the effect of those initiatives in that zone. Idk why you didn't READ the words, its meaning is quite obvious.

Sometimes I think you need to, after placing the basics, go heavy into investments into military; military units can also boost initiative deployment Plus in certain scenarios and definitely in normal, national soldiers can be as good as coalition

Pravus should have taken notice of the "Morale Boost" modifier for Coalition Soldiers that extend their deployment after every successful battle. If you keep on jumping around taking away hostile zones periodically then you could potentially keep them indefinitely.

I didn't expect Rebel inc to be such an enjoyable game to watch. I only ever watched the Plague Inc ones, but now I look forward to these.

@Pravus, did you not see the corner of the game when it displays a notification and such within overview to sizes the prelude to the game? Might be worth to check as the Custom getting more and more unique in some ways.

All the reputation boosters make sense for a Brutal or Mega Brutal scenario when you'll need the injections as things get worse

I was looking for someone to explain what the combined arms tactic does. Probably just increases reinforcement effectiveness. I know heavy fortifications or whatever makes structures have more health. Should probably go and learn all the tactic symbols at some point.

so tempted to buy this....i so love genres that 'mixes' not just mechanics in an organic but player input or control indirect ways... ..but i got so burned by 'they are billions' :/ so without far larger maps and some more depth to its initiatives outside of the initial cost aka , some sort of construction or repair cost in the ongoing fighting...and some more player options for combat other then 'soldier tokens & boost cards' ...i mean ye nice with a little fort icon ,and who the hel in real life set up a staging area/garrison to resupply or support forces in danger close combat ...without on station security ? aka... give the player stuff like bunkers and possibility to combine things like extreme combat situation ? ye building the hq into a bunker might not be a bad idea and instead of limited soldier/tanks amounts ..some sort of ongoing cost to give a bit of dynamic effects to the economy and give a natural way to support a 'economy' for far far ..faaar larger maps. and obviously a normal save load function to allow some proper either endless play for silly 'scores' or proper scaled maps demanding some long term decisions how to spend the resources in an 'ongoing' way.
