I got star wars + dune+ and some harry potter vibes ( because of that bird looking creature, kinda looks like Gryphon/Griffin), looks epic

As soon as I had seen the soldiers the Astra Militarum from 40K instantly sprang to mind. I'm pretty sure the main villains are called the Imperium.

The first Star Wars was inspired by Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress. This is inspired by Kurosawa's Seven Samurai (which Battle Beyond the Stars also ripped off). If you remember in Battle Beyond the Stars, in recruiting fighters from around the galaxy to defend a planet, you got a mix of aesthetics that looked like they could have been out of different movies. Honestly, I'm surprised Lucasfilm hadn't tried this decades ago. 😂 It's a great idea for an adult rated Star Wars movie.

Not much of a reaction, I get it's not Star Wars where you bunch cluck like a bunch of wine moms talking about Walking Dead. But what do we really expect from Disney Simps

Don’t get the love. It looks like a steaming pile of crap. Throwing everything and the kitchen sink into a film does not a movie make. I’m a fan of Snyder’s work on Watchmen, Man of Steel(absolutely LOVE), and theDawn of the Dead remake. This does absolutely nothing for me.

Yea, kinda, It's the trailer editing and the music choice, not feeling it either. I'm also a fan of Snyder, Watchmen, MoS(absolute love), dawn of the dead and 300. But i'm still a dork for sci fi fantasy.

I love watchmen, legend of Guardians and Man of Steel, i think snyder unlike majority of director out there is fans of different genre and each movie he direct is different from previous one. I never fans of dawn of the dead remake, sucker punch or army of the dead but this movie did attract to me because of John carter vibes and i love that movie.

What is the "everything" you're talking about? Lol. It's a sci-fi and plus it was supposed to be a Star Wars film prior. Of course it's gonna have some similarities.

fine if you dislike the trailer but why are you worrying people loving it? You already made up your mind right?.. just because Zack showed some inspiration taken from that doesn't mean it will be purely that. If you truly loved his works you could've noticed Zack always pages homage to the movies he likes. Rebelmoon looks phenomenal for an original IP he created it from scratch. Anyway Teaser trailer show cased what are the things we're gonna see in the two films but the trailer of the 1st part will show the base storyline and proper 1st part footage
