VICE embeds with the London branch of the Neturei Karta, a group of controversial Ultra Orthodox Jews who campaign against Zionism and for the immediate dismantling of the state of Israel.
Because of their unusual views, and support of people like ex-Iranian president Ahmadinejad and groups like the Hungarian far right Jobbik party, other Jewish people often label them as extremists.
Reporter Milène Larsson goes behind the closed doors of this secretive community to understand why this Jewish group's anti-Israel sentiment has led them to join Palestinians protesting Israeli occupation and burn Israeli flags.

@@justindchaney when you visualize that statement, it is hilarious. i guess the only comparable feature in nature is a life form that evolved to release chemical or physical repellent as it is attacked. Porcupines, and trees are the only examples i can think of. A tree being the best example, as you are enticed to eat up its contents , then it gives off a signal to the other trees. not sure the reason behind this , but it does parallel the zionist. who have stems, branches , roots in every everything. and who can influence the content produced, and share feedback and profits from consumers.

If you're going to separate religion from zionism than be consistent rather than start making false claims of who the 'real' Jews are. If Nazis had it there way they would kill all of us equally. When he said they were going to walk 3 hours to the protest I couldn't help but cry, they are the ones that practice their religion the way it was meant. They are respectful and kind compared to the classless other jewish people who were shouting at them and clearly barely knew their own religion. Love that the Palestinians welcomed them, they are some of the kindest people i have ever met. Wish the reporter wasn't so biased but anyone who watches can see who is right and who is wrong.

The first Zionists were Rabbis (particularly Kalicher and Alkalai) These men are attention seekers and do not shy from deceit. She ended the documentary by saying "sometimes their blind faith goes too far." There was a clear difference in behavior of the Neturei Karta and the Israelis at the protest (and in general). There was no name calling done by these men, and yet she says THEY are the ones who took it too far. This documentary was very informative, but she seemed biased the entire time, totally ignoring his message. Her mind seemed to be made up about how she wanted to view these men, no matter how respectful and calm they were.

The Palestinians are decendents of the people that have lived there for thousands of years; there are Palestinians that claim to trace their decendents to the first muslims 1400 yrs ago some to the first church 2000 years ago and some to the first kingdom of Israel nearly 4000 years ago. To get an idea of who is most probably truly native to Israel/Palestine look at the Palestinians, who more or less look like everyone else native to that part of the world and than look at a lot of the Israelis who are clearly of European decent.

Both the Israeli and Palestinian people want their independence.
