I purchased parts for this Audi R8 40 (YES FOURTY) times during this rebuild. Of those purchases, many parts were ordered brand new, and many parts actually came from the same car that was disassembled previously. In total, 17 different cars have provided parts for this rebuild! Check it out.

Check out Vibrant Finish in Penndel for your powder coating. They remove, remount and balance tires. Also wheel repair. Ask for AJ.

Ed! The vids keep getting better and your becoming quite the entertainer! Just a heads up, I washed and cleaned up my Gen 1 engine bay only to learn what a bench tune is of an ECU. If one wanted to say do a stage 1 or 2 tune, they have to be physically opened and then resealed after the tune. (No plug and play like Gen 2) And guess how good they tend to be "re-sealed"! Be careful! It took me 9 months, 3k and all hands on deck to find, secure and "jail break" new ECUs...all because I wanted a clean engine bay.

Maybe matte PPF (Xpel stealth, etc.) the existing sills? Will hide the damage and look cool. Maybe.

I scratched the textured plastic. 300 bucks/piece to replace with new. Definitely going to check on an alternative like you suggested.

Dude I love the way you leave us hanging....well hate the way you leave us hanging, but it works lol!!! Love this car. Very curious what this cost will be and if it's worth the investment. I would love to get a car from IAA and do this but worried if it will be worth the time and cost once completed. Let me know your thoughts if you get a second? Thanks my friend! The R-8 is definitely a very cool car. Will you be able to register it once completed?

Thank you for the appreciation. The final cost typically ends up more than expected but still less than if you bought the car from the dealer! It only works if the labor is free.
