Black looks good, though I woulda probably gone with one of the factory wheel options. Pretty much all of them for the Gallardo look great

I like factory options as well. The only wheels I was convinced that I was going to really love were the superleggera set and they were $6k used.

@@EdgasketGarage Love my quick jack. Although it has had hydraulic leaks that I've had to fix and presently doesn't hold air on one side. Quality of construction is questionable.

Those wheels are MUCH better, and I don't even generally like black wheels unless they're on a black car. And I DO like white wheels. But you're right - white AND chrome together doesn't work at all.

Was considering having the white wheels powdercoated. The entire wheel. Bright white. Keep them as a backup set.

I wasn’t confident in the thin socket. I used my 650ft lb impact on it and it didn’t budge.

@@EdgasketGarage That is very unfortunate. Hope you get it sorted out soon. That is a hell of a machine to be able to enjoy over the summer, especially since it's a convertible. At least once the fires in Canada stop. Plate says PA so I'm assuming you're dealing with the same crap as us in NY.

On the fence with that choice - original rims say crash (on VIN history), didn't involve trauma to wheels and drivetrain. Aftermarket rims ADD an assumed extent of damage and alteration to 'fix-up' crash damage. I would lean on those factors if looking to buy and emphasise that in the bargaining process... just sayin'.
