One of the things I appreciate so much about this channel is that you both take such pride in your work - you always want to make sure everything is done correctly and well, there is absolutely no "that'll do" mentality. That alone makes me very happy to see you both be successful. Keep it up.

It's a Volvo and they are fantastic cars. Having owned loads from a 164 with 1 million miles on the clock, to a mega tuned 360bhp V70R, I have fallen in love with every one of them. I no longer drive but if I did and I had the cash I would not hesitate to buy that car. A superb vehicle expertly repaired. It would be interesting to see what the main dealer would give you for it when it goes for the service. Well done guys. Cheers, Bob

Volvo parts have always been expensive. My dad and I used to service and repair a friends Volvos (145 and 245 Estates he used in his business) and the parts prices were very high. The owner even had his rear light stolen from a car park. The light cost £70 to replace and this was in the 1970s. Very good cars though, well engineered and possibly the best estate cars ever made, they were huge.

Ref the bolts - its taken me about 20 years of working on my own cars to realise it's saves so much time and effort to do something properly (like order the right bits or tool, hop in a car and collect it) than attempt to bodge something with the wrong part or wrong tool - bonus is you start to then build up a collection, I've gone from never having the right tool in my 20's to nowadays more likely than not having the right one! Great work getting that back together, brilliant car and nice to see a hybrid come into the workshop and back out again

Back in the day Volvo's had about as much style as a brick! When you see the lines of the V60 you realise how far thay have come it looks lovely, up there with all the offerings from the German 3. You have done your usual high standard rebuid with nothing left to chance. A bit surprised you want to part with it but a very nice profit in it for you guys so well worth your input.

It's a good job you found those faults guy's . Had it been sold as was , you would have been in deep pooh through no fault of your own . I've seen many substandard repairs over 50 + years . The one that really stands out is a VW Golf back in '80's. The car was less than a year old and the owner paid cash the previous night . It had been cut and shut with no less than 6 different cars . The poor chap was in tears . And the seller had simply vanished !! Thanks Rob ' and another cracking job by Chris' . Cheers !

Hello Chris & Rob, well, what a great video and how you both have worked so hard to get the correct replacement parts (including the bolts!) to make this a safe and road-worthy car. Quite right to show the poor workmanship on the subframe. I think that you have priced the car under it's real value considering what you have both done to it. I do hope Chris enjoys having a few drives in the car. Best wishes from Lincolnshire .

As I said in the last one - lovely cars the V60's. I had to wait 7 years after starting for my company and giving my wife my V50 D4 to get another Volvo as a company car and the V60 D4 (19 plate) was worth every minute of pain - just sad I had to hand it back when I got made redundant just over a year later :(

Great video Rob, what an amazing car, bonkers money on parts but think of how much the total would have been without your contacts. Sort of makes you realise why the cost of insurance has really rocketed up. Chris is the total perfectionist and you guys are all about positivity and doing the job right but i think you should call out shoddy work when you see it as you did in this video. That's a lot of car for £20k a real mile muncher for someone, on a personal note just wanted to say thanks for giving me the confidence watching you guys work to Service and swap over both front & rear discs and pads on my Focus ST, didn't panic when I realised i had to drop the rear anti roll bar down to gain access to the top caliper pin, just a couple of 10mill's as you would say. Brilliant content as always guys 🙌

One of my pet peeve is finding a car that someone has touched and it has wrong bolts, screws and fasteners used. I always make sure that everything is exactly the same when I'm rebuilding cars. So what if a single bolt costs £2-20. It needs to be correct, seen some cars use rusty undertray bolts for top panel/slam panel screws! Glad you spotted this and correcting the stupidity of the previous worker who touched it!

The finished car looks amazing, and the attention to detail in the repair second to none! Who puts bent bolts back in the wrong subframe? Good to know it’s perfect for the new owner! 👌
