I really like seeing the Melbourne influences in your build, this one specifically gives me a rally vivid sense of nostalgia for some reason, i think it reminds me of the colours in my early childhood home

I would never sleep on another floor than my toddler, especially not if I had to use a ladder to get down, but this is The Sims so just a super cute build! I think those bricks came in the Realm of Magic patch because they match the brick with trim that came in that pack.

It actually makes no sense to me that the wall shower from University isn't part of tiny living. Wet bathrooms are so popular with tiny homes. It feels like if they had not added a ladder to base game when eco lifestyle came out. Also this build is adorable.

I think the open door is cute for the sims but in real life always opt for a baby monitor, sound or video or both, because of fire safety. Closed doors at night are a big safety factor if a fire were to start in your home. Just a good fact to know, not downing the build because of course in sims we can do whatever we want, that's the fun. :) Love you Deli.

The curtain for the toddlers room really matches the storyline if you think about maybe the uncle using her room as an office or something initially. The uncle is an doctor maybe recently finishing up his schooling and training a couple years ago, but decided he didnt need a large home if its just going to be himself, and maybe in some debt due to student loans and possibly supporting his sister and parents. Then he has to quickly turn his office into a bedroom for his neice, as his sister, a single young mom, decided it would be in her daughters best interest while she works on herself, and tries to get her life back and order. So he just throws a curtain up across the archway to the office and calls it her room for the time being.

I love this series. It's so fun to see everything develop and see you build a world. I'm excited to keep watching them! I hope you're able to post them all here.

I feel seen! Re-arranging my ceramic figurines in a shadow box (is that what it was called? a box with little compartments that was hung on the wall) was one of my favourite things to do when I was a kid 😂 I loved dusting them and carefully organising them.

You know as starter homes go, this is really beautiful! The edge at the right of the front steps (23:20) would be perfect for an outdoor lamp. I envision a high rectangular cement case there (kinda like one of those high flower pots we have in the game) with an outdoor lamp at the top. Maybe with moveobjects and raising of a lamp one could recreate this idea? And I feel like the two tiles next to the fridge and the window beside the front door would be the perfect place for a console table (at 13:26 you can see the space I mean really well).

In my room I painted one wall with chalkboard paint so I can write and draw on it with chalk, it’s really cool! I loved your story, I always wanted a bunk bed
