It has been a few days since Pete has put out a video. I hope Pete and his family are doing ok and all is well. That the videos did not come out because of the usual farm work can get to you. My wife and I met Pete and the Big Red show and had a lovely talk with him. He was extremely nice to us and just a true gentlemen. We hope nothing but the best for you Pete and your family.

@@susanayers2781 I have no idea if anything is going on. I just know Pete puts out 2 videos a week and we have seen nothing in 9 days. I am concerned as he and his wife are just lovely people. I do not want to start rumors are anything, just hoping it is farm work or vacation that has kept him from posting. Lord knows he and his wife deserve a vacation.

Having spent a good part of my young life making hay on an H with sickle bar mowers, I sure love to hear the H start and run! I would cut your hay for free, just to relive those great times! One thing though, as a younger person my tractor had an A.M. radio.... now that was living! Thanks for the memories Pete!

I bale 1200 or so small bales each year and for many, many years have used a 42 Farmall H and a nearly identical mower to yours. It all looks so familiar. It's amazing how many of those tractors, produced around the timeframe of Pearl Harbor and WW2, are still running around and earning their keep. I also have a 1940 M. It's good to see I'm not the only one who carefully brushes up a gasket and has to immediately take it back apart. Nothing goes perfect the first time! I'm worried something is wrong if it does!

Why do I watch these videos? I've never lived on a farm, I'll never own a tractor but as a retired machinist I still like watching people repair and assemble things. It just kind of keeps it alive in me somehow. And it's nice to see that I'm not the only one who ever forgot to put a part in and had to go back and do it over once in awhile. Keeps us all humble I guess. Love all these videos.

Pete, thanks for the laugh at the end of the day. I was watching and when you left out the piston I could not help but chuckle. For some reason, it was not considered a success unless you had parts left over! 🤣🤣

I finally had time to give my full attention to this video and thoroughly enjoyed it today! Years ago I came to your channel for the animals and will always watch yourself and Hillary doing the regular farm chores of course, but seeing you work on tractors and other equipment has become a favorite for me. While it's informative and historically enlightening, I find it very relaxing in a way because I get so engrossed in the detail of what you're doing that every worry and stress I have running through my deeply sad and depressed mind actually disappears... if even just for these few precious minutes, it means so much for me. Thank you, Pete! Really enjoying your content!

It seems like there would be an opportunity for someone who wanted to start manufacturing parts for these to original factory specs. There are an awful lot of these that folks have dragged out of the woods and restored, and they are quite beloved. It seems it would be profitable to make parts to keep them running. Nice to see the H restored to Pete's Fleet.
