Love your videos and your insights. Enjoy your videos for rebuilding/fixing tractors. I have an older IH 1086 myself that needs some work.. I had a vegetable market garden for 16 years and everything is a lot of work. You do inspire me to keep thinking ahead. Thank you. Almost reitired as well :)

I also read the ag school research on soil compaction remedies from e.g. Texas A&M and came to the same conclusion. There's no good evidence that ripping, plugging or discing work. The only thing to do is help the soil critters make new topsoil. Thx for the videos.

Come out to Schohaire ny next year for Father’s Day weekend. The annual Gas Up weekend takes place that weekend and the weekend before, it’s an entire showcase of antique tractors, including hit and miss engines and vehicles, as well as various farm and home machines.

Good evening Pete! I watch all your videos from beginning to end. I even watch the ads too. Careful welding in the barn with all that perfect hay. I’ve met you before at the Pageant of Steam and had a good chat. I think of you as a great neighbor across the finger lakes I live in Farmington. Keep up the great work you do. God bless and keep safe.

Thanks, Pete. This video is full of Red tractor lore, and even one piece that you didn't know about. But to me the best part was seeing you enjoying the show.

I studied kitchen and bath design beginning in 2000, when CAD programs were beginning to take over the market and hand drafting was on the way out. I was so eager to try the newer, faster way to draw designs, but when I got in to it, I found it boring and not nearly as inspiring. I learned so much more about how things fit together, and I agree, there is something therapeutic about crafting with your own hands and seeing it come to life.

Hi Pete. for whatever it's worth, yours is the first KZfaq channel I've subscribed to,. My wife and I have a longstanding habit of watching your videos after we've eaten dinner. So lately we've been watching videos from four years ago. We started with your very first videos that you uploaded seven years ago. I told my wife that I wanted to subscribe. I'm retired and three years short of 70; despite this I stay busy and watching four or five videos from years ago, I realized that subscribing is the least I can do. I'll probably subscribe to Squatch359 and Diesel Creek since I've been watching their videos for years. We enjoy every aspect of your videos, from Ezra the cat to "the monsters" (young pigs); I particularly enjoy your Farmers Market videos. Please know you and Hilary and your kids have become precious to us.

Hi Pete. Greetings from Australia. On the subject of bird-flu. I remember you mentioning it maybe nearly a year ago. Here in Australia, Victoria, where I am, the news today is 1 million birds are to be culled. It also mentioned in the US there have been 96 million infected birds. It sounded like the US response was weak and it is out of control there. What do you do or are required to do to manage the outbreak? Are you worried about it? You don't seem to mention it so I expect you are not concerned.

Farming history in upstate NY is so rich. Your knowledge of farming and machinery is extensive and fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing your days with us. Tractor parades always put a smile on my face. Much appreciation from this older person who lives on a small farm in Delaware County, NY.
