I have the 12x24 Intex pool too. This is my 5th year and it is showing signs of rust and the liner is almost white now. I have decided that this is the last year and will get another next summer. However, after looking at yours I am wondering if a different brand with straight walls wouldn't be the better choice. What brand is this new pool? How do you like the oval vs the rectangle?

Thanks! It’s a Matrix by Yardmore. It is ok for saltwater, but I didn’t add that option…yet.

What size is your pool I am getting a new pool next summer my intex 26/52 is on its last legs we’re looking at a oval pool

It’s 16x32. I got it right at the beginning of the close downs last year and it is doing very well so far. Definitely meant to last much longer, but also cost about five times as much as the Intex. Lol

Your right about that it’s meant to last way longer than the intex which lasted me 6 years I practically have a board bracing up the back of my pool because it’s frame rusted through
