My favorite part of the intro has always been the last shot of the clash when they're punching each other. Though Ryuho isn't doing a fist, is he? Punching a fist with your fingers extended flat out is a good way to really hurt your hand, Ryuho!

I never watched this anime before during its adult swim run. but id never forget the opening and I downloaded the song and listened to it a lot then a year ago I decided to actually watch it from what I saw in the opening and what I concluded who was who it was like I knew the whole story. I didn't like how it went thought. but ill always love the opening.

If you would have watched it back in the early 2000s then this anime would have probably melted you mind, surprisedly the animation holds pretty well and the story is a god send if we compared it with the stuff that's coming now days. Have flaws yes but nothing that wouldn't make it a classic.

If you watch the directors cut on DVD the hand that Clenches in the Air is actually Kazumas. He finally defeated Rhyuho

Kazuma and Ryuho saved the day and lost their abilities. they decided to stay in the Lost Ground and defend it with their bare hands from the main land. ok? ^^

Kazuma won in the directors cut version on the DVD they wanted to keep it ambiguous for the tv run but at the end of directors cut it's Kazumas hand that Clenches in the air
