Increíble!!! que capo el Chino,sin dudas uno de los mejores jugadores de los últimos 30 años o mas incluso que ha dado el fútbol uruguayo! Llego a ser en su mejor momento el jugador mejor pago del mundo jugando en el Inter de Milano. El mundo del fútbol sin duda lo extrañara y mucho el día que se retire. Gracias Chino!!!

Recoba no doubt one of the most gifted players I've ever seen,his career was hampered very much by his constant injuries otherwise no doubt I'm sure he would've went on to greater things but he showed obviously what a special talent he really was:)

A highly talented and naturally gifted footballer who sadly did not reach the heights he was expected to achieve due to injuries and work rate that could be better, although at the very least he had a good, if not amazing, footballing career. When in the mood, he really could have been one of the best attacking midfielders in the world - he had a freaking amazing left foot with awesome free kick and long shot abilities, and not to mention he was also a very good goalscorer as well. Miss him and the old Inter days!

Io sono un grande ed accanito tifoso dell?inter, ho 51 anni e da quando sono bambino seguo la mia squadra con immensa passione ed attenzione. Diciamo che la mia esperienza di tifoso attento e presente risale agli anni 77/78, ovvero gli anni del doppio e contemporaneo acquisto dal Brescia di Altobelli e Beccalossi. Da allora ad oggi tantissimi grandi giocatori sono arrivati ad indossare la maglia nerazzurra e, in ordine sparso, cito quelli più importanti e prestigiosi: Rumenigge, Matthaeus, Beccalossi, Altobelli, Hansi Muller, Vieri, Ronaldo, Roberto Baggio (ormai però quasi a fine carriera), Ibrahimovic, Milito, Eto'o, Bergkamp. Molti di loro, fra tutti Ronaldo, Rumenigge, Hansi Muller (troppo sfortunato con gli infortuni) e soprattutto Matthaeus sono stati i miei idoli assoluti calcisticamente parlando, ma nessuno come il Chino mi ha fatto sognare ed impazzire ... purtroppo di grandi gioie e di grandi incazzature. Se dovessi insomma scegliere il giocatore interista che più mi ha fatto pensare che qualsiasi cosa fosse possibile con lui in campo è stato Recoba, e penso che lui sia proprio il talento più sprecato della storia del calcio moderno. E aggiungo un'ultima considerazione: se fosse approdato alla Juventus e forse anche al Milan di quegli anni, lui avrebbe a mio avviso trovato quella costanza di rendimento e quella realizzazione che all'Inter non ha mai trovato, sia a causa della sua indolenza più che nota ma anche per le grosse e storiche mancanze societarie nerazzurre. Detto questo: grazie infinite meraviglioso Chino!

branco44444444 bellissime parole, ricordo ancora quando da piccolo vedevo le partite dell'Inter con mio padre e mi ricordo di quanto mio padre si incazzasse nel vederlo ciondolare in campo. Poi due min dopo pescava una magia dal cappello e ti faceva il gol da centrocampo... Che spreco, chissà che cosa avrebbe potuto dare al calcio..

Purtroppo Recoba era così , ma quando era in giornata non ce n' era per nessuno, goal spettacolari cross perfetti dribbling, ti dava sempre la sensazione che prima o poi inventasse una magia

Concordo ed aggiungo, con rammarico che, molti grandissimi calciatori passati all'inter, si sono "ammalati" vedi anche Ronaldo. E lo dico da interista. Un Recoba alla Juve avrebbe reso 10 volte meglio e con costanza, come anche Ronny ma anche Muller. Detto questo, le punizioni di Recoba, sono storia e tecnica da studiare. Incredibili.

Bellissimo affresco del chino e a vedere le squadre senza talento degli ultimi anni dentro di me vorrei tanto avere un Recoba in campo, almeno mi divertirei.,... Recoba ha avuto poca costanza e poca voglia ma ha pure pagato il fatto di aver cambiato più posizioni in campo che non mutande.... Da chi lo ha provato terzino (lucescu), chi esterno sinistro nel 442, chi ala sinistra in un tridente. Tutti ruoli in cui non rendeva. E soprattutto col peccato mortale di confinarlo in fascia a far cross, che sapeva fare, ma insomma la Lamborghini non la uso a prendere il pane... Quando ha giocato nei due soli ruoli in cui poteva rendere, seconda punta con libertà assoluta o ala destra con libertà di rientrare sul sinistro ha sempre fatto bene. Colpa anche degli allenatori e di una società che ammassava punte e trequartisti senza sosta.

Se prendiamo SOLO il tiro Recoba lo reputo migliore sia di Maradona che di Messi. Il chino aveva raggio di tiro e soluzioni illimitate. Dalla tuona dritta, alla tuona effettata a dolci parabole cariche di effetto, pure rasoterra sapeva colpire divinamente. Messi e Maradona non avevano così tanta completezza a livello di soluzioni. Forse puskas aveva una tecnica di calcio comparabile e tirava Delle palle mediche rispetto ai palloni moderni, ma si va in un calcio lontano

200% correct, I think that Serie A was the best league at this time. Recoba, Vieri, Totti, Maldini, Davids, Nedved, Del Piero, Cannavaro, Nakata, Zidane, Thuram, Buffon, Zanetti, Adriano, Batistuta, Appiah, Baggio, Zambrotta, Trezeguet and more

Better than Messi but not Maradona. Unfortunately he didn't have team mates in the Uruguayan National Squad that could match his skills and help him score more goals. If he had been in the Argentinian or Brazilian Team he would've been a MAJOR FOOTBALL SUPERSTAR.

da interista l'ho sempre ammirato e difeso ma a ragion del vero gli è sempre mancata quella predisposizione mentale o forse la disponibilità al sacrificio che gli avrebbero realmente permesso di fare il salto di qualità definitivo che tutti ci aspettavamo; purtroppo alle magie alternava molte -troppe- prestazioni incolori e mai è riuscito ad essere quel leader e trascinatore che spesso ci serviva. Grazie comunque El Chino! quel che rimane son le tue gesta, il resto sono solo parole

I really like the playing style of Recoba. This man is very deligent in the pit. Unfortunately, he hasn't been given enough exposure because he's always the second option in attack particularly during his Inter days. A very underrated player indeed.

To be fair to Messi and all the other players in this era, the balls have changed a fair bit. It's hard to get that sort of power with that technique now. Not that many could do it in Recoba's era either.
