Virtual correspondence is a method of 3D reconstruction that works even with images taken from extremely different views that do not show the same features. How do you know which pixels are correspondences?

When you have predicted 3D estimate, why do you want to compute correspondences?? To enhance 3D model?

Oh nice, and what if you have one image but parts of it contain reflections, can you treat those areas as additional viewpoints?

Is human the only working model? I guess this won’t work universally unless you already have the 3D model as prior.
