Keep in mind the Grammys continuously use Taylor's name and image (and other artists) to promote their own annual show. This isn't a gotcha question. I'm simply curious.

@@shawna3350 very simple, she could start by acknowledging how she got the achievement, her inspirations for her vocals behind the album, her peers in music and how they've also changed the game to be considered for the award too. Had she given any type of meaning behind the award, her fans would be more inclined to cherish this moment instead of adding it to the list of taylors statistics and being rewarded with early announcements if she wins awards, it comes of as "hello fans, thank you for consuming my content on a vast scale, let me now plug to everyone else", that being the average viewer, probably discouraged their artist didn't win but is trying to consider taylors appreciation of said award, at best this is always to be considered self-interested. I definitely agree with shawnas comment on it not being well rehearsed, But will give a more realistic benefit of the doubt and say she was nervous because she knew she was just getting up to plug her music.

The only few radio-worthy songs she ever made are a handful. Cardigan, Cruel Summer and a few other. "Anti-hero" is below average as a song. And Midnights is average at best.

She then won Album of the Year in 2021 for Folklore. She then won a Grammy for best music video for All Too Well (the short film) in 2023. And now in 2024 she wins 2 Grammys (best pop vocal album & album of the year for Midnights). So you see, there were some gaps in there. She won nothing for her Debut, Red, Reputation, Lover, or Evermore. Albums of the year: Fearless: 2010 1989: 2016 Folklore: 2021 Midnights: 2024 Only artist to ever win 4 AOTY awards.

She wasn't surprised. She was prepared. She's savvy. I don't mean it as criticism. She's doing things no one eksw has, in ways no one else has and follks foolishly think She's 13 and has only has a 13yr old fan base. Most artists dont have this longevity at these levels and folks forget many of her fans are over 30 and will be listening w/their kiddos. She's working hard but; also working with future in sight.
