Despite completely different mics, drums, room and most importantly drummer (probably the biggest variable) it is SO impressive that you got this sound. You obviously know your stuff.

Awesome video. Do u happen to have front and rear tunebot settings for the tuning? Also, I notice that you have a hole in the res head of the bass. Do you put a reinforcement on the front, and if so, does it affect the tuning? To me I can't get the head to be consistent on all the lugs.

Wow I was impressed with the 57. I’d say the 57 with no EQ was as close as one could get.

Wrong, its because of the echo it sounds like two hits on the kick. Its played correct.
