ETABS take self load of each structure element by it slef. So why you would add it again? Self Load of column beam slab takes etabs by it self. You need just to add the live load.

You defined water load in the tutorial but did not assign any value to it. Why is that ?

I have explained the way for defining the water load, when it's not assigned it means the tank is empty.
