Күн бұрынGreetings fellow quackers. This silly video goes over a disassembly and assessment of a modified Onewheel GT in hopes of remedying and rectifying some physical or electrical issues to be discovered.
This is not necessarily a guide on what the best practices are, however it may shed some light on the dos and dont's of any particular build and its many components.

At least it has a quality battery pack designed for higher amps than the standard GT pack! Always look on the bright side.

Do you know if you can bypass the GT BMS like you did in the pint. Have everything I need, just waiting on my PickleBMS.

I would assume so but I am not sure, I have not tested it.

Tony from Floatwheel did it. But nobody on the Vesc discord knows how. The GT BMS pairs with the controller or it shuts off. It’s more complicated than the pint/XR way.

Are you saying in order to charge and balance the BMS needs to be paired and communicating with a GT controller?

I’m a few months intro my first One-wheel, I have a pint and find I am already looking for more power and capability from the board, would it be wise to rewheel before vesc to see if a rewheel is enough for me?

Rewheel will only change your pushback speeds but will not increase the power the board is capable of. Vesc will allow higher motor amps to be used which will increase hill climb ability.

the 4x and 2x on the bumpers are just telling you how many of the SHORT screws youre supposed to use... yes i fucked that one up :) also ill be taking a looooot of notes when it comes time for my own vesc

I ended to using long screws, because the board was apparently assembled with them initially. So I don't have any short screws for it. Still works?
