Very interesting. I knew what they did but have never seen them in operation before or seen the dart. I have seen the crossbar but didn't know what it did. Got some various odd & sods ready to send to you Dean to raise funds including a load of ties & several SR videos. Do you have a specific address and name you want the parcel sent to?

Hi Kristina thanks for the comments. The best way for us to make good use of these items is to send them to our fund raising team. Andy and Gerri Ford run the Friends of 34058 Sir Frederick Pile Facebook group. They have been raising funds and looking after Fred for many years and would love to receive more items to sell to raise funds to get this loco working again. Contact Andy and Gerri is best👍

When will 35025 Brocklebank Line be in steam?

Brocklebank Line gets worked on every week but progress is not rapid. Funding speeds things no end but is hard to come by at the moment.

@Shark30006 Sadly not soon. It has 34058 and 34010 ahead of it in the restoration queue at present . If someone wanted Brocklebank Line to return to steam rapidly a large injection of cash would help its cause enormously.
